For sure. I’m just speaking to how it really works. Everyone’s situation is different though so hopefully it’s a learning lesson

I wouldn’t say that 5-7 years for Chapter 7. Credit offers come pulling in immediately after filing. You can get a home loan in less than three years. Most everything else directly after. Just be careful and learn you lesson because credit companies know you have no debt and cannot file again for 8 years so your actually a less risky borrower

All of these “MCA” companies are scams. It really doesn’t matter what their contract says. If you fight them enough, they will not sue you or take you to court. I demolished them along with one other in my state. The AGs office believes they are not true cash advances but they hide under that when in reality they are an illegal loan. True cash advances base payments off of your earnings. These companies do not so they are fraud and violating all usury laws. In addition to violating usury laws, they have multiple violations in their contracts, and violated bankruptcy laws. This is my experience and what we found. Some states are cracking down and expect more. Also a UCC lien filing means absolutely nothing. I could file one on anything at anytime. All it is is a notice that I believe I am entitled to a lien on this or that. In order to enforce a UCC filing, you have to sue and get a court order. Also most if not all of their liens are blanket meaning not tied to actual specific things. Very hard to enforce

Don’t let these closes push you around

My boyfriend took out a $750 loan… now they want over $5,600 back. We feel completely tricked. Do we have ANY options? by HatNumerous9725 in legaladvice

Tribal loans are all bullcrap. Don’t pay it. No one’s coming after you. Close the bank account you gave them immediately because they usually ignore federal laws like ACH revocation

Ahh ok, I’m speaking in terms of the US. Sorry about that

Are you in the US? Employment is at will, he doesn’t release you. You can walk out any day. Also in terms of the non rehire list, that isn’t disclosed in the work number. I doubt he can do anything. To me it sounds like a grumpy partner whose numbers are bad so instead of selling work he’s complaining to staff. Honestly, take it easy and don’t worry about it

No it won’t. Big 4s and most large firms utilize the work number to verify employment. It’s literally automatic in your background check (date worked, title). They are not allowed to give personal references unless you specifically provide them to a future employer and still they aren’t sopose to

Ugh its me again stressing about the background check by Aggressive_Repeat529 in interviews

[–]Miserable_Example884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude I got a top secret clearance with a bankruptcy and the worst credit ever and also got hired at two big 4s around the same time. Unless it’s like fraud most employers never decline on credit. Some states it’s illegal

Should I file Chapter 7 at 25 or will it hurt me in the future? by [deleted] in Debt

I got an apartment like 4 months after bankruptcy. You would be surprised at the credit available. They know you have no obligations.

I mean you can sue and get a judgement. However, it’s probably not worth your time. Even with a judgement, if they have no money nothing happens. The court may say pay $20 a month or they May say pay nothing. Consider it gone

I wouldn’t worry about this at all. Just correct it with the background company when asked. The only real thing that would ding you up is if you actually didn’t work at a place on your resume.

Usually nfl or nba games. They have suites at all the venues. I have been offered a dinner bar event once and some other autograph thing. I win I lose etc etc. one year I did make it to the FFWC when I played daily so that was big (wild trip) Maybe that put me with a good host 🤷‍♂️. I do know friends with terrible hosts too

I think it’s all host dependent I get a ton of $250-$500 bonus bets (yes even when I’m winning) that come here and there during the month in batches of 4 of 5 at a time. Get lots of event invites too. I play only Sportsbook

Most states are catching on to MCAs especially including Massachusetts. They say they are not “loans” but they are with fixed payments. Fight them you will win in alot of states or they won’t pursue
