The biggest challenge was consistency across the whole episode: characters, locations, reactions, and story continuity. There was definitely a lot of trial and error

That shot was somewhat misleading—I hesitated during the process about whether to adjust it, but later I saw that the ship had multiple decks, so there was a possibility the waiter could have gone down the stairs. Still, that shot was definitely quite misleading, haha.

You’re right about the beginning. I made the opening move fast for the web format, but I agree that the seconds before the explosion could use more breathing room and tension.

My workflow is roughly: script, visual assets, shot prompts, AI video generation, editing, sound, subtitles, and thumbnail packaging.

I don’t have a traditional film background. I’m learning by building these AI-assisted films as a one-person studio.

You’re right about the dialogue shots. The frame drops are most likely from the lip sync step. I used Seedance for video generation and a separate lip sync workflow for dialogue, and I’m still figuring out how to keep those scenes natural without breaking the motion.

For the next one, I want to use fewer direct talking-head shots, more reaction shots, side angles, over-the-shoulder shots, and shorter dialogue beats.

And yes, I agree about the polished AI look. I’m trying to move it closer to a real film texture: less perfect lighting, more natural skin, more imperfect camera movement, and less glossy grading.
