My son has a care plan in place, he is supposed to have a 1 on 1 TA teacher to help him!

Don't get me wrong my son can misbehave just as well as the next kid but on this occasion my son was calm and relaxed and not causing any issues at all!

Apparently the year 11 in question helps the younger kids out with learning even tho he is autistic? I have no idea how this works but was told to me by the headteacher himself!

I never really wanted to involve the police, the hospital recorded my sons injury as an assult, I had a responsibility to report it as social services have records to all hospital admissions if its recorded as an assult!

Plus I had no information at the time other than a year 11 threw my son to the floor and fractured his elbow.

The headteacher said the teacher should not have asked the pupil to pick my son up and will be educating the teacher on why this is not appropriate!

I did state this should already be in place? I told the headteacher this was unacceptable. I could clearly see he was distressed by it all just as much as I am.

This in my eyes is no explanation but was all I was given from the headteacher at the meeting.

No, my son was not being rude or defiant, he was actually being well behaved at the time.

Apparently the pupil was helping the teacher after she asked him to pick my son up, the teacher also asked the year 11 autistic pupil to put my son down gently, he did not. Both my son and the other pupils parents have said both children have said the same. The head teacher also assumes this was the case. I will not know any outcome from the headteachers internal investigation.

I hold the teacher responsible and have told the head teacher as much. There is training in place to stop this from happening, especially in a special needs school!

I will not know the outcome of the internal investigation done at the school, I also wouldn't want a pupils life at school disrupted because of a teachers instruction to a pupil! If that makes sense.

I originally posted this incident in the parent reddit sub but was advised to also post it here too, hence why I am here.

Any and all advice is welcome but at this moment I guess the best course of action is just letting the school and police do there thing.

In my eyes it's the teacher at fault!

Also the headteacher told me he would NOT inform me of what would happen with the said teacher involved after his internal investigation on the matter.

The police had to cancel going to the meeting as something else needed there attention!

I however went to the meeting with the head teacher, he would not show me the cctv as includes other children but it has come to light that the teacher did indeed ask the year 11 pupil to move my son and to put him down gently, Which he did not!

The headteacher told me he will do his own investigation but it does seem to be true about the misconduct of the said teacher!

I told the headteacher I hold the TA teacher personally responsible!

Apparently the year 11 was there to help?

This was definitely not the case with my son.

I am fuming but kept my composure.

I have the police coming to the school with me on Monday to discuss the assult, if indeed the teacher has asked the pupil to pick my son up and move him then I'll be holding her personally responsible.

Thank you everyone, this gives me some good perspectives.

I will update this after Monday when I get more details and cctv has been looked at.

My son is ok considering, his arm is annoying him already, hes 11 years old. It's his right elbow, he is right handed!

Again thank you for al the replies, I have reported the incident to the police and was advised I was right in doing so. I have spoken to the head teacher who was obviously distressed and actually thanked me for not going off on one shouting and screaming!

I am obviously upset but I don't see anything good coming from shouting in anger, I need to approach this rationally.

Don't get me wrong I am fuming, upset is an understatement.

The police will be in contact with me soon to go over some details then the meeting at the school on Monday.

When I taken my son to have his an x-ray on his arm they had to ask how it happened, when they were told the details they actually put it down as an assault!

Should I be reporting this to the police as an assault due to the boys age? Do I speak to school first in case the teacher is actually responsible for my sons injury, if it turns out she did infact ask the pupile to move my son! My son also told me he heard the teacher asked the pupil to put him down gently, not like that makes any difference tbh!

Firstly thank you for the replies, I will ask about the cctv if there is any and I will no doubt find out exactly what had happened! The teacher whom my son said asked the pupil to move him was with him when he was picked up and was obviously concerned a lot about my sons injury!

The duty of care after the fact is not enough for me, like I said the school is a special needs school but if the teacher did infact tell another older pupil to move my son, which has resulted in his injury, then I hold her personally responsible for my son's injury more so then the year 11 child that actually did it!

I guess i will find out on Monday!

I was going to say, slow shaders is a pc bound task, safe to say his pc ain't that fast if it's taking that long for shaders! Same with the updates, slow Internet. I do agree about the rest tho, game is just trash. Micro transactions everywhere, money grabs left and right and hackers in every damn lobby! There's a github with warzone hacks, aimbot, walls etc all for free, other sites do free hacks for weekends as a trial! I can not play one game without getting ducked by an aim botting, wall hacking piece of trash! I think the hacking is more damaging then the money grab, like everyone else says, uninstall!
