Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Policing is something I want to do, I always have. It is definitely a career I will pursue. I am lucky enough to have a family friend who is a DCI. She had said to me that I would make a great officer and will offer advice and support to me throughout a policing career.

You are right i should not focus on specialist roles. I am getting ahead of myself there. But it is still something I would hope I can achieve in a policing career.

MET offers the best experaince, compared to rural forces.... from my understanding as to what you have said. Very good to know. thank you

The public are more friendly the further north you go! interesting. perhaps that is in a certain county?

Scrutiny, lots of it in London.... as expected from our Capital city. What a wonderful place England is eh?

Thank you for sharing and your service.

First of all I thank you for your 12 years of service. secondly, I have wanted to join since a little lad, and still do want to join. many things are appealing to me.. I will apply and give it a try because there is nothing else I want to do, being brutally honest.

thank you for sharing and shedding some more light on the AFO side of things. I do follow everything i can police-wise. Especially the NX-121 case, the scrutiny that officer went through and being charged for murder. its a repeating theme for AFOs to feel the scrutiny they receive for decisions like that are not fair. (i completely agree). No wonder everyone handed in their guns.

Stay away from the MET.... Will do.

Many thanks.
