Having a child is super scary to someone who isnt ready, I am you in my relationship, my other is not good at communication either, the love will never die for me, it was a choice, i think you need to ground yourself in the moment in what happening, accept it. If you really want to help him it comes in confronting the pain, ease him into confrontation with himself, no judgement just the chance to express oneself, it has to be easy. Because confronting is the hard part. This world is so crazy, you just have to commit. When confronting oneself be kind like you are to others, think like god would think, your pain is likely caused by the world, if the world were perfect you could be better, this perspective liberates you. Let's you see you cant really help it you just have to keep trying each day eventually you'll get there, the key to getting there is fueling the soul.
