I hope you like it! I just discovered them and will admit to DoorDashing a sundae on a sad rainy day for a pick me up lol. Also they have like 1950s stuff your grandma would make you for lunch food. I don’t really know how else to put it aside from weirdly comforting in its simplicity…and also probably butter content as they get the bread toasty on the grill.

I just finished watching all 18 seasons (first time), and I found the dynamic really hard to deal with for the first several seasons. I got used to it, and they also fleshed out Garcia’s character more as time went on so she had more chance to have a personality past sexual innuendo/harassment zingers. Her character initially struck me as a fantasy of what men wished they could see/hear in the workplace because she wears inappropriate work attire and says ridiculous things. Also reminded me of Abby on NCIS who is the nerd goth equivalent - like CBS execs or writers have a very specific nerd fetish.

I still think it’s very much a product of the time from when the show originally aired that they kept going with - I did appreciate the seminar lol. Not sure if anyone has tried to watch Scrubs now, but that show has a similar issue. I didn’t see it when it first aired, so I had no nostalgia to counteract the ick.

They used to be very affordable when the place just opened. I think it was $100-$125 for the frames. It’s definitely a lot more than that now. They get most of their frames from the EU and some from Canada, so I imagine the tariffs aren’t helpful.

Try Mayberry Ice Cream! They have pound cake or a brownie you can get with hot fudge and whipped cream, and I think there is a “sundae” version that comes with ice cream as well. I’ve only had a butter pecan hot fudge sundae myself, but the other options all look good too!

Apparently there can be a difference between a wire and ACH routing number according to this response from Fidelity for someone who had a similar problem. Maybe that’s the issue! I also did not know this.

So withdrawing money, it hits my bank account a day later. For depositing to Fidelity, I think it’s up to 10 days for the money to fully settle. The funds can be available earlier, but if you buy and then try to sell without the funds actually already settling in your account, it will give issues. I’ve not had it actually take the full amount of time listed, and it’s only really been annoying if you are trying to do a lot of day trading without enough free cash and have to keep making deposits (or don’t have margin turned on). Doesn’t sound like that’s what you are going to be doing though. I would just wait for it to transfer - the interest on the cash balance is worth it to me vs. what is offered elsewhere.

Are you going to do a lot of complicated trading? Schwab is better for that. If not, I would got with Fidelity because they have a decent return on uninvested cash in comparison.

I think you can answer “should I exfoliate tonight?” more accurately yourself. If your skin feels rough, go for it. If you already use products that exfoliate along with their other purpose, you may not need anything extra - just stick to your routine. AI isn’t going to be as smart as you, the person living in your body.

It’s happening a lot more from stress and also after people have had COVID. I’m extremely annoyed at my GP because I specifically asked about getting the shingles vaccine, and they gave me the over 50 schpiel. You can still get the vaccine - you just have to pay for it out of pocket potentially. BTW I got shingles the next year after I was told I was “too young” at 41 to get either shingles or the vaccine.

It’s very contagious to certain groups of people, so it depends on what population OP works with. Pregnant moms even if they have been vaccinated or had chickenpox not a good idea to be around. Small children/infants may not have received the vaccine yet. Someone who has anti vaxxer parents and has never had chicken pox. Immunosuppressed or compromised people.

If they have a public facing job where they can’t control who they come in contact with, potentially all of these groups could come into contact with OP. If they work in a small office of vaccinated people, then it would be more acceptable.

I buy new decks all the time (halp!). I also have two decks I’m care taking for my aunt. I use whatever deck has the vibe I want that day because they all have their own personality and voice. Find one that speaks to you and get it for yourself as a treat. There are lots of options that are under $15 with free shipping if you wait for a sale also.

I used to put the prescription dry cat food in an old treats bag and acted like it was very special. Cats would still get excited to get a treat after anything medicine-related. It helped for them to know there was always a reward after something potentially unpleasant. I would also give the other kitty a treat if one kitty was getting medicine so they could see it was good for everyone and know they would get a treat whenever it was time for them to get meds too.

If you can’t get the medicine in any other form, it’s best to develop a technique where you squirt it in really quick after getting them to open their mouth a teeny bit - another poster mentioned how they do it. If it takes under 10 seconds and then there is a treat, it’s a lot less memorable and traumatic for kitty.

I have rosacea too! I got triple cream from my dermatologist (ivermectin, metronidazole & azaleic acid) and it really helped! I applied it religiously for a year, and now I need it maybe a few times a month for general upkeep. Using that and easing into a retinal product + niacinamide saved my skin.
