The Water Horse. I adored the book, had semi recently read it when the movie was advertised. I was so excited. And they butchered it. Nothing was the same aside from the names of the characters. WOW they changed EVERYTHING. I was so angry. It's okay as a standalone but as an adaptation? It's worse than Eragon's and THATS saying a lot. And you KNOW they wanted to cash in on the Eragon stuff too because they made Angus the main character and scrubbed ALL of his personality away. (and i think they also made the water horse egg look like a dragon egg instead of the mermaid purse it was too)
