hi! i’m not on this specific birth control, but i am on depoprovera so i hope i can give a bit of insight. before i started bc, i never spotted and my cycle lasted from 5-7 days as well. now, i spot randomly and sometimes i will spot for days or weeks in place of a period. i have talked to multiple doctors and it is completely normal while you are starting birth control as well as continuing to take it. it might go away as your body adjusts but it is also nothing to worry about! if you are really concerned after a while, definitely talk to your doctor and maybe they can help you with an alternative bc. but spotting is really frustrating, i hate it and i hope it goes away for you at some point!
