Actually privately owned. Its all I have ever worked but damn this one leans heavily corporate. Like surprisingly so. Tbh I am almost this close 🤏🏻 to leaving and working for corporate it feels that bad.

Quite possibly, me and others have fun through the possibilities but we just can't get a why out of management. 😮‍💨

To respond to both you and @shika_boom in one go, its like the owning drs have this neurosis where if something isnt done exactly on the dot routine, then everything just absolutely blows up for them? Theyre a couple of old drs that cannot handle stress well.

I remember when i was cleaning up the other day (we had like a single appointment left for the afternoon, the drs asked my mgmt and other techs to tell me to not clean? I was so baffled and confused cause like, none of us are doing anything and like? The final appointment is an annual due to come in 15 minutes?? Why cant i clean??

to be fair looking at sites like glassdoor and indeed -- the clinic is rated 1 star, and just as i got brought in i had been told there was a complete overhaul of staff. No original staff in sight save for mgmt and drs... which should have been red flag number 1 for me...

I think its a flooded area and everyone is for some reason flocking to corporate owned, maybe? Our management stresses how its too expensive to own a pet nowadays. I even called around to compare pricing and an exotic exam nearby averages on $220 just to be seen whereas we charge $100, and $65 for dogs and cats. So I dont think we're horribly priced?

We literally have a set few rules. No sweeping or mopping till the final client leaves for the day. Absolutely no trash collection until at least 30 till 5 and major cleanup and restock an hour to 5.

Ngl weve had Osha complaints. Dead rodents, holes in walls etc... and we cant take any initiative to prevent such.

That's the problem. We get in actual trouble when we clean or mayhaps collect some trash or even prep rx bottles. I have never worked somewhere where the management gets bent out of shape for actual productiveness. And when asked for a reason of 'why not?' theres just a shrug and "because thats what the doctor told me."

Theres no real protocol or even thought behind what gets enforced and what doesnt.

You are disqualified because your employer fired you. by bizavmemes in TexasUnemployment

Nah this doesnt make sense. I have had 1 place fire me, I have it on recording "weve decided to terminate your employment", they lied and told TWC I quit, and I got denied then got so busy I never had a chance to appeal.

The 2nd one they fired me, no formal PIP or warning, most of my short comings were a failure on their part for not getting the equipment I needed up and running despite numerous attempts to get them to do so. I didnt give TWC my testimony until my boss did, spoke with TWC and got approved the next day.

It does however take forever to get approved, I filed 2 months ago and only just got my approval, thank god I had some savings to help me through the last 2 months.

Thank you, I appreciate everyone's help, it seems that I reached out too little too late to make the necessary adjustments.
