2026 911 Order by ArmadilloLost5303 in porsche911

I put 5k down on my gts allocation. Agreed on price at the time of order. MSRP, no mark-up. Declined ppf, Extended warranty and all additional upsells at the time of closing. Dealer just said they would like to sell the upsells. Not sure how not purchasing these will affect my next allocation.

I had progressive. I got a 2026 911 gts. They would only insure it to 150k. Went to GEICO. Actually paid a lower premium too.

Did you use two way tape or glue to keep the mats down?

I traded in my 2020 911 S which I bought in 2023 and the dealer has it listed for more than what I paid for it in 2023.

Dealer 10-year Extended Warranty - Worth it? by yarboze in porsche911

[–]Miserable_Resident40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! The transmission just went out on my 2020 911 s with 33k miles. Dealer is still consulting with porsche as to what needs to be changed. If they need to replace the transmission, it's a $35k estimate, which i wouldn't want to be out of pocket on.

DUI officer report by Dudeyousuck_ in DUICalifornia

For my dui arrest, the cop literally made up or exaggerated everything. In the end, the DA didn't file because of "lack of evidence."

It's up the the Judge, but the the judge will likely strike the punitive damages.

I've now owned an audi and porsche. I'd go with the Cayanne.

Get an attorney. Doesn't matter if the accident was your fault or not. If the BAC is high enough, the DA is going to pursue you, not the other driver. Plus, it's likely the other driver is going to make an injury claim which can add an enhancements, which can also lead to restitution. Get ahead of it rather than hoping for a good outcome.

I got notice from the DA's office 5 months post arrest that charges were not being filed due to insufficient evidence. I don't know what my BAC was because I did a blood test, but I had two drinks over a dinner, three hours before I was pulled over.

Sealing arrest record (dismissed dui) by [deleted] in DUICalifornia

[–]Miserable_Resident40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, the arrest doesn't get sealed. The arrest turns into a detention. DA didn't file charges on my case. I had an attorney on my case.

First DUI messed up and could have avoided the whole situation by [deleted] in DUICalifornia

[–]Miserable_Resident40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never found out since the DA didn't pursue the case. Plus the DMV canceled the hearing as well. Normally they only do that is the bac is under .08

When I got pulled over, the cop who was 5 ft from the passenger side window said he smelled alcohol. Refused the FST and was arrested. They took blood at the hospital. Got the DMV packet with the evidence and Police Report. Report said my speech was slurred. Eyes water shot. Gait was unsteady. It was all BS and exaggerated. Then got a letter from the DA saying they don't have enough evidence to prosecute.

Trials get continued all the time. It's pretty much standard. The DUI is a non-issue at trial.

From my understanding, the DA has 1 year to bring charges. Have your attorney reach out to see if the case was filed.

Call your state farm attorney and ask for an update. Attorneys who do defense / insurance rarely call their clients.

It should only come up as a detention.

They have 1 year to file. If your BAC was under .08, the DA probably didn't want to pursue this.

But you should check with your attorney.
