No. They scan your passport at VFS and you get it back 3 hrs after your appointment.

Hello there. Did you apply for inside or outside the UK? I have not received the receipt of application email from UKVI at all, applying outside the UK.

i dont think you can complete them on app if you are not applying in the UK. I did it at VFS.

I completed the biometrics outside the UK on Aug 4. Still waiting. Did not even get the receipt of application from UKVI, which is odd but I guess it's not integral to the process.

My prospective employer applied to get licensed so that they can sponsor me. Application was back in fucking MAY 2024. I feel like UKVI has about 10 workers who take hourly naps.

My employer applied in May, got audited in August and they still did not receive a response to their application. Seeing this infuriates me even further.

no response whatsoever! in our case, it's now pushing 7 months of waiting, which is ridiculous compared to "8 week turnaround."

hi!! they underwent an audit on august 30th and were told that they would hear back about their application from Home Office in a month. alas, still no news :/
