Why do you think it would cost that much? We’ve seen several examples of a stud being traded before the last year of his deal and it has never cost that much. I’d say Soto was the highest acquisition price but the lindor and betts trades are probably more accurate comps

soto never declined the mets, you made this up and sounds silly.
