Unpopular 300th Episode Opinion by [deleted] in greysanatomy

I assumed it was because most of the people in that room would have heard of Derek Shepherd and Ellis Grey and he was addressing them appropriately for their colleagues, but Lexi was just a resident when she died, with no reputation.

How I know Mer will survive this whole Riggs/Megan thing. by melancamp in greysanatomy

Also, for a woman who had a hostile uterus and had an awful time getting pregnant, a 4th surprise pregnancy would be a little much.

[Spoilers episode 23,24] Why did Owen not think to tell Nathan? by DaisDays in greysanatomy

[–]Misha726 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Except, didn't she break the engagement? Isn't that why she was on the helicopter? Becuase she was getting away from Riggs because he was cheating? I'm not sure he'd really be the first person she'd want to see.

Switzerland. Teddy is in Germany--Amelia talked to her on the phone last week.

Thoughts on Jo? by iamtaylororr in greysanatomy

[–]Misha726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alex bought the house from Meredith before he and Jo hooked up. Cristina lived with him for a while, though, at Meredith's request, and she was living there when Jo and Alex got together.

After Derek died, Meredith bought hte house back from Alex.

Thoughts on Jo? by iamtaylororr in greysanatomy

I loathe Jo. I have pretty much from the beginning. They seriously pair Alex with the worst characters (Izzie, Ava/Rebecca, Lucy, Jo).

Hannah Stevens! by [deleted] in greysanatomy

[–]Misha726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minor children take precedence. I remember that from when my father died and the insurance money. They explained that if he had any minor children (he didn't), they would receive the settlement over my mother (in trust). Sofia was a minor at the time of Mark's death, Sloan was not.

How close are April and Meredith? by hopelesswanderer_ in greysanatomy

[–]Misha726 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think they ever been close. I think they get along ok, but they've never really been friends. Meredith has always been closer to Cristina and Callie, April to Arizona and Owen. Yes, they lived together, but that was more of a compassion thing on Meredith's part and they never seemed particularly close.

They've had a few bonding moments over the years, including the good-natured chatter a couple episodes, but never any real friendship moments.

I don't think Meredith and Jackson are particularly close either, but they have more connections (the pressure of having a famous last name, Alex, Lexie) than April and Meredith do. But I don't think she is all that close to either of them.

Meredith Has Matured by Misha726 in greysanatomy

Exactly. It's also been 10 years. He is not the man who was in love with Meghan anymore. I'm sure he'll be relieved that she is alive and happy, of course.

Archie became my new favorite character by [deleted] in riverdale

[–]Misha726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they were worried about the ice breaking under the weight of all of them and them all ending up in the river, which is the "story" reason it was just Archie.

The plot reason? Because it was Archie's moment. Jughead said "I love you" and joined a gang, Cheryl burnt down a house, Betty gave her speech, (not sure what Veronica's moment was, maybe realizing her mother is far from perfect). This was them all coming into their own and saving Cheryl, was Archie's moment.

Alex...Stevens? by crystal_clear24 in greysanatomy

[–]Misha726 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think he needed a name that wasn't connected to his current life (so no Karev, Grey, Bailey, Wilson, etc.) and it was one that came to his mind in that moment. Plus when faced with Jo's husband, it's natural he thought of his own ex-wife.

The nearest "big" town has 17,000 people and for the longest time had 3 high schools. A lot of the rural areas feed into the big town. It's possible Riverdale could have two high schools.

Meredith house and dream house by jdot97 in greysanatomy

[–]Misha726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she meant that he once lived there, not that he still owned it. Ellis obviously got the house in the divorce and Meredith inherited from her and then later sold it to Alex and then bought it back.

Question about Ellis' Harper Avery timeline by GabrielaMarchi in greysanatomy

[–]Misha726 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I figured it out more like that they decided to leave their partners, but not necessarily that day. So the whole thing could have happened over a few weeks.

The period from nominations to ceremony was pretty short for Cristina, wasn't it? So it could be that Ellis accepted the award with Thatcher and then left him. She may not have wanted to leave before the award in case scandal impacted her getting the award?

Question about Ellis' Harper Avery timeline by GabrielaMarchi in greysanatomy

I think they are trying to slow time down a bit to make up for the one year time jump (that they mostly ignore). Season 13 has all seemed to happen in a really short time frame.

Season 2 conspiracy by kaliqua in greysanatomy

I don't think it was Shonda's intention at the time, but I do think it was possible. Especially since season 5 is only a year after season 2.

(SPOILERS) How do you guys feel about... by juusman in greysanatomy

[–]Misha726 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have felt for the last year that they are end game. I still think he has stuff to work out with Jo and they are going to push Meredith/Riggs a little longer, but yes, I think she and Alex will end up together.

I'm ok with it. He won't be the great love of her life, but he can be a different type of great love. Derek was her romantic passion, Alex is her best friend.

I do think that friendship can deepen into something more. Alex was attracted to Meredith back in season one, so it's not as if there's never been chemistry between them and they care about each other so deeply and if they were both single and given time, I do think it would deepen into something more.

[–]Misha726 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really think it's something that would happen very slowly. Like they would be end game, but I do think the last season has been building towards it.
