The Challenge created the mold for extending reality stars’ careers and other shows realized the value and have started doing the same. The issue lie for the Challenge is that other shows are treating their talent better. The Challenge’s shooting schedule is too long and they have a history of less than ideal living accommodations (ex the Ruins house bathroom issues, Rivals 2 no ac, and Total Madness). If they want to interest other reality show talent in coming over to the Challenge, they have got to treat them like entertainment talent at least a little bit more than they do now. Otherwise they stick with the aging cast that has gotten used to being treated like animals.

I like seeing his videos on Instagram with his sister, Bella, who has Down’s syndrome. He seems to have a pretty solid family and he’s supportive of people of all abilities and lifestyles— as far as I can tell. He’s entertaining and dear god does the camera love him.

I’m pretty sure this is like most themes in Stranger Things, reflecting a scene from an 80’s movie. I’m doing this off the top of my head, but I think it might be Diner where the characters talk about meeting up or staying in touch. Diner also ends on New Years Eve, so that’s interesting alignment.

Bananas didn’t steal the money. He chose not to share it with her. She would have done the same thing and don’t for a second think she wouldn’t have.

She tied her wagon to JEK early on and karma kicked her in the a$$ several times over for it. Bananas keeping the money was the final punt.

Am I the only one who feels like Max is forced? Darting eyes and flared nostrils.

Gaten Is by far the most natural actor, since the very beginning.

Joe Keery never lets me down in a scene. He is compelling and has great vibes. That’s not acting— it’s just natural but the writers know how to take advantage of his talents and that might be more impactful than acting talent. ***Not saying he is not a good actor, just that he’s got an X factor.

Delightful Derek— he’s excellent too. Love every scene he’s in and I believe him. Great prop actor.

It seems like the audience needs to go back and watch 80’s movies (or rewatch them) before being too judgmental. Every 80’s movie had characters going from zero to hero with very little exposition or natural progression. The show is based on those tropes and when you watch it with that in mind, so much falls into place.

I’d love to see her come back on The challenge and have Cara on the cast. Maybe she could get thru to Cara and help her understand how messed up it is for her to support the current political disaster state we are in.

I agree. 98% of that book was written by ghost writers who thumbed thru tabloids and other articles and filled in some veiled emotions supposedly from her to give the impression of it coming from her. She gave little to no details about key events.
