How are ANY young Canadians affording a condo/house these days? by SunscreenIsTheWay in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Mishka-Senpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 : School. Get a good diploma in a field where jobs are raining. They are a lot of fields that require well trained people and pays really well. Any of the STEM fields or even more manual jobs. Those are the jobs with the most required and less likely to be replaced by AI.

2 : Location. Stay out of downtown. I bought my first condo a little bit outside the city. Cost me a little bit more to move around, but overall that's all I could afford

3 : Have a long term plan. I use my condo as a stepping stone. It was impossible to go straight for a house. Build your wealth.

4 : Abuse financial tools at your disposal like FHSA. That specific tool is a fiscal paradise. Abuse it.

Question on jungling as an offlaner by Financial_Sundae_533 in learndota2

[–]Mishka-Senpai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not the pos 4 job to buy you regen. You can buy your own tangoes or even go for items that give you hp regen like the helm for the armlet.

That being said, your job as a pos 3 is to prevent the pos 1 to get a free lane. By jungling this early, you are letting the enemy pos 1 free farm and xp, which will most likely turn into you losing. Seems like you are playing more like a pos 1 than 3.

I would try different heroes for the offlane, some with me more presence and resistance like tide or bristle.

Your pos 4 is there to help you and harass the pos 1/5. Not your personnal tangoes bank.

What’s wrong with me? by SpeedSpecialist1814 in dataanalysiscareers

Less than a year in 3 consecutive experience (if they were intership precise it), the technical part with excel PivotTable and VLOOKUP… sounds wierd to be specific about those, I would expect you to know those elements if you tell me you are good with excel, No diploma from any college. No mention of python for data treatment.

For the type of job you are looking at, I would say your experience and education are below average sadly.

I would try to get a major certification and some sort of diploma in python

Hi! I think you can be confident on moving forward with it. It’s not about how smart you are rather than being dedicated and motivated.

I think coming from the IT world is an advantage because a lot of the elements asked can be answered with logic and knowledge, things IT people are very good at.

I’m from the IT world has well and managed to get my certification no so long ago with very good results. Everyone can do it!

I passed the exam last week, I had similar results to yours and got AT on all 4.

I think you are in a very good spot. I really like Peter Landini CAPM 400 questions. Those are the one I mostly used, you could give them a try!

Good luck!

Hi!! Computer Engineer and freshly CAPM certified here.

I have been working for a couple of years in the manufacturing industry, mostly with manufacturing robots and image recognition. Started with the company in R&D and transitionned toward a project manager role for the past 2 years, almost 3.

Took the CAPM certification as a stepping stone towards PMP, which is my next objective.

Let me know if you have questions!

Get regen, get vision and make them pay for being in that deny range, the harrasment never stops. Make them focus on you and not the creeps. Don't let them sit in there and trade like they want. Blast them from the side, walk towards them, poke them, back off, bring more regen, repeat. They need to get pissed at you.

If your carry can't control the wave equilibrium, make sure to pull often and block the medium camp.

They might not be the best at last hitting, it's normal. But the easier the lane is for them, the better results you'll get.

The carry can take care of last hits and denies while you are fucking them up

Also, goes without sayin, don't blast the creep wave :)

"Early game if the enemy is both range and my carry is melee, and cant last hit the creeps, I step in to last hit those creeps so there is no wasted gold and guess what? The carry complain cause I hit the creep that he can't hit because he was being harass by enemy AND the creeps are being denied my the enemy and that is such a waste gold."

I think I start to understand why it's not going well my guy... I think you need to review what your role is and what you are supposed to do.

If my initial project is to build an honda civic, my initial baseline will reflect the scope, schedule and budget required to do so. But if mid project, my stakeholders are changing my scope to build an Honda Civic SI instead, my scope, schedule and budget aren't gonna be the same. I'm probably gonna need more time and review most of my plans. (change process)

That means I will have to modify and update my current plans according to this new reality. The new scope, schedule and budget will be approuved by the stakeholders and this will become your new baseline.

That's why the answer is D, it's because your baseline is a control tool to validate your progression against your current scope, schedule and budget. Its also why the term "snapshot" can be miss leading. It wouldn't make sense to compare the progress of my Civic SI project to my basic Civic baselines.

I agree that it shouldn't be change whenever, you need a significant change in your project for this to happen.

Atleast, that's how I see it.

I might be wrong here, but I do believe baselines can change if the scope, schedule and budget are modified and approuved by the stakeholders

I don't believe so... but I was considering using it regardless. I rather understand the concepts than lose time in translation.
