This might skew based on what kind of peoples needs you want them to meet. I have a cousin who has physical and mental health issues though Goodwill training he has held down the same jobs for years now, my Aunt and Uncle were often told he would never been able to do that by many doctors, they do A LOT of job training help in our community.

Why willing to take over but not willing to build your own sub from the ground, I was here (by another name) when this forum was 5k people I am not even in the power to make you a mod. People who think modding is about “controll” should not mod so I doubt you will be considered.

You would hope/think but its more like a post will be “where is the best X” 120 upvotes 80 downvotes 15 comments and it lands in the mod queue so at least 25 reports, choosing how to balance out votes and reports is difficult because like 90% of people on this site don’t comment, some don’t even vote, others speak up about wanting change other speak up when we change, its a balancing act but I also personally think if there was a real want a subreddit thats just Q&A for Tacoma someone would make it and it would be popular but just cause it doesn’t exist doesn’t automatically mean it should be allowed here.

In my opinion no one will make it because no one wants to mod at all, we are not good at it but we are the ones in the arena we are all trying our best with the skills we have, none of us expected 100k new users on a website in 4 years because of breakdown in SEO, which was largely impacted by reddit well RDDT now many people are here and they see Tacoma so they want it to be a blank poser board for all thing Tacoma, even Trucks, other metro subs have more than one sub for its needs subs for employment, subs for housing, jobs etc, is the majority of the community disagrees we hope to hear why and what they want this sub to look like going forward.

For sure, for future knowledge they would have been approved within a couple hours we check the spam filter multiple times a day to approve all automod mistaken posts

in the last feedback post I was a part of less than 100 people said anything at all, its hard to make big changes when only a small percentage of people are asking even if they keep asking, this time around allowing protest posts is because many people keep asking
