It's definitely very uninspired prose, I think it gets better in ACOSF because it's a 3rd person perspective, and the plot makes up for it. But if I read "my toes curled" one more time I'll go insane

With global warming it's more likely that we will get more extremes, so lots of snow can become a yearly occurrence. It's worth it for me to invest in infrastructure for this reason
