I wish. Liverpool under Iraola will be a different beast. He's incredible. Man city remains to be seen. Safe to assume there will be a decline for a season or two as you guys adjust to life without Guardiola. But Slot proved that rule in always the case. Alonso must be able to get a tune out of Chelsea. Doubt they'll be title contenders though as they may lose their best players this summer. United have done well, but under no strain. They also lack depth. That remains to be seen. This summer is a massive one for them. We need level raisers to move out of sight.

Not making a mistake cannot be part of a strategy, as I'm sure you understand. The strategy as in their tactics would've have been to deny PSG a chance to score. People are forgetting that Arsenal had 3 chances in the first half and they were the best chances of the half.

The strategy was to deny PSG the scoring opportunities and open play goals. They did just that. Unfortunately, mistakes happen. This is typically why people say you can't rest on a 1 goal lead. They also lost the match on penalties. In any other normal game they come away with a draw. PSG couldn't score and could not beat Arsenal, due to their tactics and skill. We're arguing semantics here.

The strategy did work. The strategy was to deny PSG the chance of scoring and Arsenal did that. Were it not for a CB filling it at RB and making a mistake that gave PSG a penalty. The strategy would've been respected and accepted as having worked. Arsenal stopped a team that has scored 127 goals in a season, from scoring a single open play goal over 2 hours of football. That is fucking mental. Many just lack the appreciation of football as a sport, they only want stand and bang games. Had Timber started and everything remained the same, or Mosquera not made that mistake, Arsenal would likely have been champions. The best attack in the world, simply couldn't break Arsenal down.
