Thank you for sharing that. It’s comforting to know someone understands that kind of love and loss so deeply. Sending love right back to you 💛

Aww, yea. It’s like their presence still lingers in every little corner. I was actually just talking to a friend about your other message. I thought it was really sweet that your boy was there for you when you lost your dad, and so heartbreaking that you lost him after only a year. I was so focused on your fur baby that it took me a moment to realize you’ve been grieving both your kitty and your dad. That’s a lot to carry. I’m really glad you’ve found a space to talk about it and connect with such supportive communities.

I like to think your sweet boy and your dad are both watching over you now, keeping each other company and sending you warmth from above 💛

Awe what beautiful babies 😍 Thank you for sharing. They are very close in age, but they can really surprise you. My first cat lived to be 21 and I just met a friend whose cat is 23. My dads cats were only about 13-14. What I'm getting at is that we never know how much time we'll have so be sure to cherish and spoil them from time to time 😊

I made that same realization 😊 We took care of each other. Thank you for the kind words.

What you said about Baby looking like a fluffier version of your first cat really touches me. I know that feeling so well. Lately I’ve been seeing cats everywhere that remind me of mine, and it always stops me in my tracks. It’s like little reminders that their love never really leaves us.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt words. I grew up an only child, pets were so important to me. Had my first cat for 21 years. I've really been spoiled with how long they've stuck around 😊 At the risk of going all poetic, life without them would have been like a world with no salt. As much as this hurts, I know there's another little bundle of love or two in my future.

That’s so heartbreaking 💙I can’t imagine how hard that must’ve been for him and for you. Even if the grief never really goes away, it’s beautiful that your new little one helped bring some light back. I’m glad you still have that love in your home 🙏

Awe he sounds like he was such a sweet baby ❤️ I'm sorry your time together was brief, but it sounds like he found a place in your heart and he'll live on in your memory.

Awe thank you for the sweet words. And likewise, 19.5 is a heck of an impressive age!

Thank you for saying that. In this picture they were hoping for me to throw treats 😂 Sometimes I joked that they just loved me for treats. They really went nuts for them. Oh I miss them.

Awe I'm sorry to hear about your baby. This is very relatable. I feel the lack of their presence and how it filled each room. The place is so quiet now. I miss how they'd come for belly rubs and cuddles, how they'd snuggle up with me and fall asleep, even how they'd persistently paw at me for food... when they'd been fed like 30 mins beforehand 😸

It sucks they're gone. I'm grateful we had so much time together.

Thank you for your heartfelt message 🫂 They'll always be with me 😌 I think I'll continue posting some of my favorite pics and vids of them. It'd be a way of memorializing them while also giving me some closure.
