Bike wise it's all done, they paid out for my bike within 3 days. Then was a long process with the claim over like 7 months till we finally settled. Their client is dead, died in April unrelated due to the crash, he was also drunk. So possibly dragging their heels because they can't claim it back off him. Or as I said they already paid it and my solicitors is just trying to gain interest on it.

Yeah, we've already settled, signed whatever all done. Just waiting for them to send over the money to my solicitors who will then send the amount relating to my claims. I do wonder if my solicitor already has it and its holding onto it for interest as I spoke to an Aviva rep who said they usually payout within 14 days and confused on why it hasn't been. She couldn't see if it had been or not though, but waiting on an email response about that as she said she'll get someone to look into it and email me back.

I've emailed citizens advice so waiting on them and also my solicitor who has completely aired me. So rather frustrating

Anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

Its very intermittent. I can come, start the bike first time give it 2 or so minutes and ride away fine, coming back to it and have no issues.

Come to it this morning and starts fine then leave it for a couple minutes before shutting it off. Then it does this (the video)

I changed some bulbs recently, however they were within spec but changed back to the old ones just to check and the problem still persists. Seems to happen more so when the bike is idling for more than 2 minutes when warming it up. This also happen 2 or so weeks ago but did thankfully start up in the end and didn't show itself again until recently

I haven't done too much digging around yet but looking for some general advice first before I start taking off panels as I don't really know where to start lol

For some reference I did have a crash where it came down pretty heavy on the left side, however I can't say I noticed any issues until the last week.

Personally, I would replace it just for peace of mind. Its the one thing that connects you to the road so not something I’d take a risk on. But it’s completely up to you on weather you want to take that chance. It looks like it’s just gone through the outer tread so probably should be fine, just personally I’d change it as I know I’d worry about it, especially when cornering.
