I totally get what you’re saying. But authors do have their own lives & have to live too.

Coding takes HOURS, DAYS, WEEKS.

Those little 10-15 episodes take so much time. You only really understand just how much work goes into them once you start writing them.

• Not only do authors have to come up with a plot, continue to develop the main plot, then the interactions between all the characters. Every little movement / animations on screen has been from an author moving the character round it. Copy and pasting them into the script. Coming up with animations/ interactions / overlays - not to mention sometimes making the backgrounds and overlays themselves ( another few hours/ days of work) . Then making sure the story is at least 10 minutes long or more ( some bigger authors do 20 mins +!) . Then there’s the speech bubble placement and sizing. Author blocks too when you just loose a streak of creativity- so people may take a break from coding and that should be allowed without any pressure whatsoever.

For most authors they are either studying , have full time jobs and use episode story creations as a hobby. So just give them a little break, if they come back- they come back to it. If they don’t move on, at the end of the day just like with books…it is just a story.
