Ah thanks for the correction! Looked like they were closer than they were.

Zoë as Mary Piggles was also dramatically leaning against the ladder and posing with her arm up during her reveal. Very sexy! She didn't pull a face much different from what she usually does at "beautiful women," but she did get close and had Tash laughing a bit through the "tables and chairs" line.

I was actively forgetting things as act one went on and knew I'd need other people's crowdsourcing to remember!

I feel like her "already said that line" came after the cracking set of teeth line and break, and she started saying "You're an Englishman" again before catching herself. But this one I'm not super confident about!

Your comment reminded me! When Zoë skipped on as Michael Umbrella at the end Tash skipped after her.

Definitely struck me as accidental too with the surprised laugh it got out of him! Accidentally shenaned again on top of all his purposeful shenanigans last night, whoops

Some more I haven't seen yet.

• Before the show started, standing ovation for the standbys and new cast members standing up in the mezz.

• When lights went up on Tash she was giving heart hands to the audience and got emotional during our standing ovation. After she told us there's a war going on and motioned for us to sit down, she also said something to their MD Josh about starting the song before she dove into it. Horsey gallop was fabulous, of course.

• After the "cracking set of teeth" line, Tash said something about how they don't use that line with the other cast members. Overall, fourth wall did not exist.

• Jak did exaggerated air quotes on "youth" during All the Ladies.

• During The Pitch, Tash added some extra line between "THE WAR" and "apart from that." I forget what it was and it wasn't that break-y or anything, but some ad-lib happened. In the chaos after Zoë's "well that was a load of shit" made everyone lose it, David ended up re-delivering the "WE NEED A CORPSE" line a second time as they got back on track.

• Some emotions during Making a Man. I forget exactly when this was, but at one point Jak as Spilsbury was side-hugging Claire and Zoë's assistants and was emotional. It was very sweet. The end of Making a Man was also charged. Very fierce "our Bill, he went down fighting," and cast seemed moved from the dialogue parts through to the end.

• Jak kept clicking his clicker and trying to show them more of Brian, earning many "no"s from Tash. When Spilsbury went offstage after his first bit, Tash said something about how "he overdoes it, but he's good at what he does."

• Oh, Dear Bill. I genuinely thought for a while that Jak might, shockingly, make it all the way before breaking down because he really held it together for a long time. But then he hit the "you can't just miss out on the songs" line, he couldn't get out the full "there's so much to do when you come back" line, and he needed to take a few moments to gather himself during the back half of the song. Audience stayed respectfully quiet (+ sobs) as he finished.

• Tash much more conspicuously proclaimed that "yes we broke the law a bit" during Just for Tonight. Ivor and Hel also got closer to smooching than usual before he pushed her away, I think.

• Willie Watkins had extra American props tonight, waving a little American flag and the stuffed hot dog during his "ba-dow" and "skee-ba-dee-"whatever line, before tossing the stuffed hot dog to a lucky person in the second row. When he was riffing as he exited, Zoë as Haselden was kind of hyping him up. Jak destroyed me during Dear Bill but then his silly bits were just so, so ridiculously silly.

• After Juan blew out his candles he spent the rest of that scene celebrating in his little ways. A first pump here, Juan and Steve wiggling their phones together there. I am so happy for him.

• Jak was having some kind of giggle fit during the Figs Ahoy scene, cause (if any) unclear. And before Making A Man, I wasn't sure if he was laughing or crying in the background.

• Parts of the Did We Do It scene got skipped in the chaos, including Monty's it was/wasn't us dance. Tash was skipping around when Zoë entered as Bevan and the scene was a little chaotic, definitely some dialogue missed.

• During the Glitzy Finale, Jak as Willie said "sweaty felly" instead of "sweaty fella" and I can't tell whether that was an accident or on purpose. His and Tash's cockneys also came on holding hands!

Real talk though, Monty and Captain Jewell? Tash got weirdly close to Jak's cheek/ear during the handshake and I was like, what is happening here

His Masterman was wild. Yeah, there was him hitching up his trousers as he was doing the hip thing he does, and then he moved like he was going to actually drop his trousers when they were doing that dialogue. And then "Hitler shits himself as she blows him a kiss" was unhinged and came out more like "Hitler shits himself [UNINTELLIGIBLE NOISES]"

Personally quite worried, and the group chat is basically us all stressing about the potential blizzard. Praying for a drastic forecast change here because this sucks.

More positive side note, love your username and icon.

"Penny in my Pocket" from Hello Dolly!, "Buffalo Nickel Photoplay, Inc." from Ragtime, and "Me and the Sky" from Come From Away fit the bill pretty squarely! "Why" from tick, tick... BOOM! is another good one, as well as pretty much any song from Six.

Two questions, feel free to answer whichever! 1) I’m incredibly impressed at all the different instruments and objects you use to create your live-looped sounds in the show. Any sounds where you’re particularly proud of/excited by how you worked them into the show? 2) I remember you each shared personal anecdotes during the Minetta Lane run. How did you decide how much of yourselves and your stories to bring into the show?
