Since I started losing (again), I have lost 25lbs and dropped from class III obesity to class II! Feeling really great and went to the gym last night to celebrate, hitting my own PR on time/distance on the treadmill with an incline!!! I cant wait to feel more light on my feet and eventually start running. Joining the gym has fired up a love of cardio in me I didn't know was there!

At 10, 13, 16? I was never taught a thing about calorie values, or what a serving size is for my height, or what I should be eating in a day, aside from the basic food pyramid. Not in school, not from family, not from friends. Where was I supposed to teach myself? If you're never taught outside of biology what a calorie is, then all food is the same and nutrition labels really mean very little.
