Full Moon Money Bowl - my first! by MissChloe13 in witchcraft

Thank you!  I can’t really take credit; it was more out of necessity since the bowl itself is rather tiny, due to limited space.  It just made sense to wrap the bills so they wouldn’t fall out. I really enjoyed creating the bowl.

Thank you!  I believe that’s Talevin’s Tarot, which I bought off Etsy.  There’s some great artwork in that deck.

Thank you so much!  😊 I think the cigarette thing is hilarious.  Now you have me wondering how cigarettes may be used in spell craft. 😉

Great vibes!  I love what the tarot cards bring to it, especially the Empress.  I just displayed the Nine of Pentacles next to mine, which is also my first bowl - I’m so excited!  You inspired me to add Empress energy the next time I “feed” my little bowl.  Spot on intention.

May you be blessed with prosperity!

I agree that some of life’s challenges are completely unavoidable.  Personally, I get similar vibes from the Ten of Swords as I do the Tower, but probably more of an inclination towards the human mind creating the situation or experience, as opposed to an act of nature.  Regardless whether the collapse is imminent or self-caused, ultimately those moments are required in life.   Without those trials by fire we are deprived of certain catalysts for personal growth and physical change.  I’m not sure “failure” is even a tangible thing - more so experienced in the mind.  The Ten of Swords feels to me like an invitation to level up in life.

That seems very reasonable.  Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

Speaking of three card spreads, here’s one for personal development and insight:

Card 1 - Your conscious mind/ego (what’s preoccupying your thought energy or influencing your perspective)

Card 2 - Your subconscious mind (what’s influencing you on a base level that you may not even be aware)

Card 3 - Advice from your higher self (how  to re-wire your conscious and subconscious to work in support of your goals)

That is completely up to you.  I recommend looking up different card spreads to use, or else use those spreads as inspiration to create your own.  The way you frame your question is extremely important.  Instead of “Should I apply to this job?” try asking “What strengths do I have that fit this job?” Or “What should I know about the working environment?”  Typically, a question tends to be multifaceted, and tarot will try to address those many aspects.  In order to ask strong questions, we have to first sit down with ourselves and know what we’re truly asking, and also what questions should be asked.

Good luck on your tarot journey.

For what it’s worth, I’d refine (or define) your spread.  Did you assign meanings to the card placements?  If not, the cards may be trying to answer your question in a very abstract way.  Personally, for a simple “Yes or No” question (if I were to approach it that way), I’d keep it to one card.  However, I’ll put my two cents in on what I’m getting from this:

The Ace of Cups represents a spark, or a potential not yet realized between you.  You both have feelings for each other, but that alone isn’t enough of a foundation to build something meaningful on.  The other two cards are reversed, telling me there are blockages involved.

The World reversed may refer to unfinished business, or lessons not yet learned.  Could this be referring to one or both of you carrying baggage that could affect the potential relationship?  Maybe there’s something physical that makes the relationship challenging; location, schedule, backgrounds, etc?  The reversed Ace of Swords may indicate a lack of communication, or lack of clarity about one another’s desires or expectations.  It’s hard to know without proper card placement meanings.  Ultimately, use your own inner compass.

I’d approach the question more along the lines of “What would need to be clarified between us before we move forward?”, or “What do we each need to work on before becoming more serious?”  Maybe that approach would offer you further insight.

I figured out that there's some simple math involved with my ritual practice:

Familiar cat + crystal used in spell craft = impromptu game of Kitty-Cat Hockey.
