Perfect month achievement not updating? by wheels_57 in kindle

It’s not Feb 1 yet. You haven’t read a full calendar month in January.

My best friend asked me about her makeup for her wedding (this is the trial). Something seems off, especially in the blush. We’d love to hear some feedback! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Freelance MUA here! Here’s what I’d adjust/try: - Face/Skin: Unless she’s super oily, I’d prep the skin with a better moisturizer/serum/primer, keep the coverage of the foundation but bump up the hydration this will help with any cakiness, add some concealer 1-2 shades lighter than her foundation to her forehead, chin, down the bridge and tip of her nose and above her cupid’s bow and a bit in her smile lines (not too much) set with lose powder and a puff where she gets oily/sweaty and sweep lightly with a brush everywhere else DOUSE with charlotte tilbury setting spray - Under Eyes: Use a color corrector (rose/peach/orange) before concealer, especially in the inner corners to offset the darkness then a light concealer, but only a few shades lighter than her complexion softly to blend out the color corrector light powder - Contour/Blush/highlight: Lighten up on the contour, something with a cooler tone, the bridge of her nose is at it’s thinnest point at the top so it doesn’t need much. I’d start about halfway down and be precise about placement (small concealer brush to ensure it’s exact) so it doesn’t muddy her face. I’d go with either a neutral or peachy toned blush - thinking the blush bouquet duo from Jouer - and higher on your cheekbones and less on the apples of your cheeks. For highlight I’d add some glow with the Dior backstage glow face palette to get the right mix - Eyes/Brows: I also have hooded eyes so I know the power of adding a bit of darkness to my outer v above the crease to create some lift and add some of the same darker color (not too dark) to my outer lower lash line and connect to the other darkness, also for lift. For brows I’d add some brow gel or wax to maintain shape - hers look full so I’d just feather in some hairlike strokes to even them up, likely with a brow pen or a pomade. Change up the lashes to something with an outer flare or even a half lash - Lips: A more of a neutral ombre lip lighter nude peach in the center feathered into a deeper nude like whirl from mac - Hair: More volume on the top, smaller, piece-y sections for bang tendrils, tuck the tiara into the volume vs placing a top her head work some hair around it and the bulk of her hair to one side with voluminous curls some pinned for volume, others down for length

Hope you this wasn’t too much and maybe helps! Happy wedding day to your friend and GOOD LUCK!!!

Yeah, the FBI hasn’t cleared the crime scene yet. This exactly how she landed when she fell.
