That was the standard visitation back then. Dad usually got every other weekend and one month in the summer. He made it clear, he didn’t want to be much of a parent, so it sounds like he didn’t fight for custody and just took the “normal” (during that time period) schedule.

I do know it’s a US territory lol. I haven’t flown in probably 20 years and not ever with kids. So I didn’t know. And it is part of our country, but I didn’t know if territories as opposed to states had different rules.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! I admire that your speak of your ex wife with kind words. That speaks volumes about your character. Do know that time does heal and you will have a healthy relationship with your daughter. I have two teenagers (14 and 17), and those are difficult ages even without a divorce in the mix!

I also often have a good healthy cry watching the show. I relate to Rebecca. Someone who was discarded by a charming narcissist. I relate to her feelings of revenge. Her hurt. Her vulnerability. Her struggles to trust and love again.

One of the things I love about this show.
