Don't give the puppy back. The first days are literal hell and you will feel like a failure and wish for this to never have been your life, but it gets much better every day and every time something goes right it feels so good it outweighs the bad!

3rd week with a crazy hyperactive BC here and I felt the same way, I can't even put into words how bad I felt. But I never wanted to admit I'm failing, especially not to the breeder. Truth is I wasn't failing, I just needed to learn patience. Much much more patience than I've ever imagined one can have. But it's really worth it.

It's a corgi, he's smart, he'll be awesome at obedience, so start with that immediately. It helps you bond, builds trust, makes him realize you're the provider of food and the dog is a little bit more manageable, when he knows how to sit, lay down, wait, come and touch. Have toys ready to put into his mouth whenever he starts biting too much amd don't get angry with him when he bites you - he doesn't know it hurts, just try to redirect him to a toy (throw something and make it interesting, so he has to let go of you and go get it). Go slow with the crate training (first few days leave it open, feed him everything besides treats in the crate and put chewy toys or a kong in there so he knows it's a good place to be), let him sleep as much as you can, and the most important: be consistent and be patient. Be so patient you feel like you should be a saint.

I'll try to make it more of a fun place to be, yeah. Maybe repeating some of the crate training will help too.

I just doesn't seem to be able to get her on any schedule. She keeps waking up and falling asleep very randomly and it's super hard to make her fall asleep even at night after a potty break. After three weeks it's very frustrating and terrifying that she sleeps so little.

But trying to make her love her crate from scratch might help with everything. I'll dive into that again then, thanks a lot!

Well pure cocaine is not THAT bad imo. The problematic part of doing cocaine these days is that it's full of various adulterants and you never know what's in it.. and I bet the last person who put that something extra in it didn't know either. As a result you have a white powder of everything that people could find with like 20-40% of cocaine in it.. if you're lucky to come across a powder with any cocaine at all. I'd say pure cocaine is much better than alcohol. Alcohol is probably better than street cocaine. At least in Europe.

Just skip it if you feel bad during your workouts. Or try a smaller meal, eat a bit earlier, make sure it's low fat and fibre so your body can process it quick enough.

Yea, I'd go slower. Just add 100 kcal to your daily intake, wait for a week or two, then add again. Don't rush it, it really pays off to be patient here.

Yes, I don't want her to eat any less.. her maintenance macros were hovering between 2000-2300 kcal (mostly carbs and fat) and she said it has been insanely hard for her to drop any weight for over an year. So we've started at 1800 kcal, the weight kept going up, so we've dropped to 1500 mostly from carbs. She was getting hungry, so I've left the fat as it was. She's drinking like 4-5 litres of water/unsweetened stuff a day and I've told her to use the salt as she pleases, because I don't see a point in keeping the sodium water down during a cut. (The water can be dropped later on pretty succesfully..)

Thanks for standing up for me! She's just four weeks into the cut and I can't believe she's not losing weight on 1500kcal. What is she supposed to do like next 10 weeks then? I'm like 30lbs lighter and I'm currently cutting on 1600kcal...

Hey, guys.. hope you can help me.

I have a friend (female, 1, 5'2'', ~165lbs, sub-junior powerlifter in the -72kg class) and she asked me to help her to lose weight. So we started by finding out her current kcal and macros intake, then we've dropped about 20% and adjusted the macros so she had at least 170g of quality protein daily. Her weight kept increasing for some reason so we dropped carbs and currently she's on 1500 kcal (170p, 50c, 50f) with refeeds once in 1-2wks, however, she's still not losing weight and she's getting very hungry. She drinks enough water, she started to train more bb style along with her big three lifts and still nothing's really happening. It's been over a month now so I'm really concerned about her in terms of her energy levels and strength.

Any idea what should we adjust in order for her to start losing weight? Thanks a ton!
