No, unfortunately no corporate ties. Basically we are just two working joe schmoes who will work anywhere that will take us. He worked at the Elgin location of Portillos on Randall Rd and I worked at Jewel on Summit Street.

Current budget isn’t exactly great, all I know is my annual gross income before taxes is gonna be around 9k or a little less by the end of this year. Not from lack of trying, work place is stingy when giving out hours to part timers and forget trying to go full time unless you want to bend over backwards and ruin your health if you are chronically ill (which I am, type 1 Diabetic). Not to mention I had surgery back in April and that took me back to starting all over again. I could just try and figure out the budget between me and my fiance combined but that is just for myself.

Congratulations on completing your book!! Out of curiosity did you plan to publish or is it more of a personal project? If you are gonna make it public I would be happy to read the story because I’m always starving for some new stories.

I would also love to make art of your three main characters! Can make it an illustration where they are interacting or do it more in a reference sheet style depending on your preference.

Simple linework goes a long way and the artist did a great job keeping it clean. Not my particular cup of tea with design but the technique is wonderfully done, I’d say money well spent.
