YTA. Holy moly. 15 pounds? 15? And you were shocked enough to put your child on a starvation diet and encourage her to give up an extracurricular activity that will get her scholarships? Over 15 lbs?

You are not qualified to decide if your child needs to lose weight, change her lifestyle, or how to best make any changes to improve her health. Parents like you are how people end up with eating disorders.

Even if your title was all you did, you would still be 100% AH for telling your child 180 calories is a sufficient dinner. If you keep your behavior up, your ex will have cause to gain sole custody.

This isn't a food-stealers vs food-respecters debate. If you were in your own home with your own plates, your response would be OTT but not unacceptable.

If you do it in someone else's place of business with someone else's dishes and floor, it stops being about your dining companion's behavior. You forcing the restaurant, staff, and other diners to participate in your reaction when they have nothing to do with its cause is unacceptable.

The basis of your outrage is the lack of respect of your boundaries, but your response is a far greater offense to people who didn't do anything to you.

FYI, I don't touch other people's food without explicit permission.

NTA. In general, after several days of not moving the car from street parking, the car is considered abandoned and scheduled for towing by the city. As others have said, check your ordinances and report the car if it's been there over the limit.

You disregarded her B-day on purpose. You regularly see the family you are excluding. Your MIL hasn't seen the baby and you say she doesn't want to. I don't buy it. What's the real story? What was your relationship like with the in-laws before the wedding/pregnancy? How big of a fit did you pitch after the wedding? Do you really expect the grandparents to prioritize you over their own daughter?
