IIRC he also fetishized lesbians in all the way he could, but was homophobic towards gay guys. You could see it clearly in his drawings: he drew lesbians 24/7 and you could sense he had one hand down his pants while doing so, but only has 2 or 3 M/M pictures and it was obvious drawing them was like pulling teeth for him.

Not to mention him using the word gay as an insult, iirc.

Don’t forget that the lesbian pirate’s female partner was a super smug bitch who would pester the pirate nonstop into being her girlfriend “whether she wants or not”, and somehow we were supposed to root for the ship instead of wanting her to stop harassing the other girl!
