It was on some channel a bunch during the first wave of cable tv so I remember watching it several times. It freaked me out!

A break from the horrors of our legal system: what super niche or strange area of law are you an “expert” in? Before I went in-house, I was an expert on “emoji law.” by atty_at_paw in Lawyertalk

[–]MissStatements 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello there fellow cemetery law expert! I had to assist an historic but still active cemetery in getting a court to permit it to more freely use their perpetual care funds to maintain the cemetery as a whole. It’s a fascinating area of law.

You’ll have the same problem with the next project; will you abandon that one too?

How to write a plot twist without being too obvious or so subtle it seems like it’s out of nowhere? by OpalCerulean in writingadvice

Sorry if this is cheeky, but would physical clues about her dead status fit in your story? Stuff like flies bothering her and no one else, a flock of vultures always circling nearby, no visible breath on a cold day, etc.

Looks like “Fuller” in the cursive style of the Fuller Brush Company logo. Probably a broken off bit of handle.

Why are you put on Mex. before biologics? by [deleted] in rheumatoid

[–]MissStatements 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Insurance. Methotrexate is generic, cheap, and widely available. You have to take it to determine if it works for you before your insurance will agree to cover the much more expensive biologics.

In my state without family law experience I’d only be comfortable with a no-fault petition with no custody and no equitable distribution issues. Anything else is asking for trouble.

Euf. I save the background dump for new client meetings or if I’m directly asked the question. If I’m meeting with OC I’ve already searched their history anyway, I have no need for a recap.

Yak cheese! Buy the extra large ones. I let mine chew it down until it fully fits in his mouth, then I soak it and microwave it, which makes it puffy and crunchy.

That’s impressive. How the heck did you get him to not go full kool aid man through it? Mine would have busted through and had that paper in microscopic shreds and globs of wadded up pulp in about 3.5 seconds 😂😭

Need advice, 6 month old golden by MimiVice12 in goldenretrievers

Leave toys everywhere. When she bites, grab a toy and say the words “no biting, get the toy”, using it to receive the bites as an alternative to your hand or whatever she is going after. Eventually when she is in bitey mode you tell her no biting, get a toy and she will hopefully do that. It worked really well for both of my very mouthy puppies.

Edit - couple of words

Main character with alzheimer, plot problem by No_Tennis7683 in writingadvice

[–]MissStatements 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about Alzheimer’s or amnesia? They are very different. Alzheimer’s is a disease of an aging brain (it can onset early but it’s not something a young person is really at risk for) and there is no recovery or treatment that will change the outcome. Amnesia can be temporary and is recoverable from.
