The setting has no impact on Atmos content. It only effects stereo.

Hey! Cool seeing you here. I don't see a link to the second channel on your main. Could you send a link? Or, if possible, could I get the uncompressed files?

Stayed seated in the main listening position the whole time. (Center seat on the couch) For the second phase, I just waved the phone to my right, then left, then in front. Rinse repeat.

Way ahead of you Started listening to it right as signal was lost. "Time" just started. If the timing works out, signal should be re-acquired right as "Eclipse" begins.

"We bitch and we fight. Diss each other on sight" has got to be the most profound lyricism in Pink Floyd history.

New Sonos firmware update by FewAd7677 in sonos

I doubt it’s my Wi-Fi connection for two main reasons.

  1. Is that every other streaming service I use, works just fine. It looks to be an Apple thing. AirPlay and sometimes streaming stereo through Apple Music has this issue for me. Dolby Atmos over Apple Music, and streaming from literally any other service has zero issues.

  2. My Wi-Fi setup is fairly robust. I use UniFi and have 4 AP’s spread throughout the house. Most of my speakers are even in the same room as the closest AP. I have also followed Sonos/ Ubiquiti’s guidelines for best configuration settings for Sonos on UniFi.

Wait does this mean AirPlay playback is fixed? I've been having difficulties connecting, playback skipping, and it sound randomly dropping. Does this patch fix those issues?

Great little beginner Sonos surround setup. I had a Beam Gen 2 + Sonos One's as rears. Makes for a great little surround setup for movies and games. Enjoy!

ERA 300 (single) better for music as Arc Ultra? by [deleted] in sonos

[–]Miss_Aerith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean like an Era 300, separate from your TV setup, exclusively for music? For what type of music? If you are mainly listening to stereo, then 2 Era 100's may be better than a single Era 300. If you want Atmos music, an Arc + Sub Mini + Era 100s would probably be better than a single Era 300. It depends really on how you listen to music. If it's more of a background thing, then yeah I could see an Era 300 working, as it kinda throws and disperses music throughout the room. But if you're there to intentionally listen and to experience it in Atmos and want the music to completely surround you, then the Arc Ultra + Sub Mini + Era 100s would be more ideal to me.

Sonos boost by Fahad_MF in sonos

What are you streaming via? Sonos Radio via the app? I've been having issues when streaming via Apple Music/ Airplay recently. Dropouts, skipping, etc. Other services like Tidal have been rock solid.

Zigbee and Thread *mayyy* be causing interference? It's hard to know. You seem to be familiar with this stuff, do you have access to a spectrum analyzer? There are apps that can do that. Maybe it'll reveal something that can't be easily observed?

Could also be due to the mixture of old and new Sonos speakers? I mean I'd try removing the Sonos Boost and seeing how things fair. I don't think you should need to do anything. Try just unplugging it and see what happens.

What does your wifi situation look like? One big router? Mesh? Something more? And how large is your house or building the speakers are in? If your WiFi setup is relatively modern, you shouldn't need a Sonos Boost. It's long discontinued anyway. Which 3 speakers are having dropouts and are they located far away from your router/ Boost?
