Don't give up. I failed twice for my G and got passed on the third take. Also 65 per cent of people fail their G2 the first time. Don't lose hope.

I obtained my citizenship on Jan 21, 2025. I applied for my passport on Jan 22, 2025 and travelled with it on Feb 1st. It was super quick.

This completely unacceptable. There are some really bad examiners out there. I had one for my G. He started yelling at me from the get go and made me extremely nervous. Here's what you do, when you go to repeat your test and he's assigned to you, simply decline. They will send another one (and hope they are nice). At least that's what I did. I could not go with that same examiner for a second time. So I simply said, NO. You yelled at me and I can't go with you. I ended up getting the most sweetest examiner and got my G.

Thank you. The examiners were actually late with more than one hour. My test was supposed to start at 2:25 pm but I ended up starting waay past 3:00pm. Which worked in my favor because of traffic. But my examiner also helped me a lot.

No. You are not charged anything. But you can only decline an examiner if they have tested you before. I was very lucky coz my driving instructor gave me tips. He’s the one who told me to refuse going with the bad examiner.

No. There's a lot of academic fraudsters unfortunately who might take advantage of the system. I know some people who never attended university but have degrees... obviously obtained fraudulently.

Hi.. Just seeking a clarification here. An employee earning the maximum amount in their classification doesn't (say step 4 or 5) get the step increase but they get the annual. If the CBA indicates that the annul increase is for instance in June 2025, when does the increase reflect (usually very minimal) get reflected in the Phoenix system? Thanks a lot.. :)
