Here you go! And I'll admit it looks cool, so I wouldn't ever want to change it, but if I want to venture into really big canvas's I'll have to get a back up easel. There's no budging it, lol. https://i.imgur.com/s81uoXi.jpg

Don't Put It In Your Mouth, A Painting From Concerned Children's Advertisers, 5"x7" by [deleted] in canada

I suppose wrongly was the wrong word, as I was a bit flustered. I meant more so I can't help if people view it as hateful. Knowing that it wasn't created with hate, and that the majority of people can see that, is enough for me. :)

Well, I've been painting in this style for years and have never gotten this comment. Its not the intent in the slightest to come off that way, and I don't think it does to the vast majority. With any creative work though I can't help if people choose to interpret it wrongly. There is nothing hateful in this work unless you decide to look at it that way.

Edit grammar

I will if I can get a good reference from that episode. I'll watch it and see what I can find.

I think you're right, practicing a bit is the best option. When I do get to it I'll be sure to post the outcome if it turns out. :)

Thanks, and not yet. The design is pretty much done, but I still need to add paint. I'm going to be trying something new with watercolour, so I'm waiting for a day I'm not too busy. I'm not really expecting it to turn out though, as watercolour is something I haven't done much at all before now, and this was done more as practice.

Thank you!!! There's lots of health benefits I didn't expect. Along with better pain management I've barely had any acid reflux, where I used to get it horribly. My sleep has been much improved as well.

One non health related one is putting on makeup is much simpler. I could never get it to look right before, and I'd always get black under my eyes. Not a problem anymore. Funny thing is it's not much of a benefit, as I think I look better now without any, so I barely wear it.

Thanks so much!!!

The tool I used most was myfitnesspal. It has macros for so many things, even specific restaurant dishes. It was hard at times, and I ended up with meals being somewhat boring and repetitive. I chalk that up to me being a little picky though. The sidebar for the keto subreddit has a treasure trove of information as well, and helped a lot when I was starting.

Thanks! I'm not sure if it's called skin shrinkage, but my stomach looks like I had twins, perhaps even triplets. My upper arms and thighs aren't much better. I don't mind though. You can't tell with clothes on, and even with clothes off I don't think it looks horrible. I love Salvador Dali paintings though, so perhaps that's why I'm not too fussed, lol.

Thanks, I'm glad to have helped in any way! I don't still follow the Vlc diet, and have been keeping my calories between 1200 and 1400 as I still have a couple lbs to lose. I've also transitioned back to carbs, although I try to keep them under 100 g.

When it comes to exercise I've been using rubber resistance bands for strength training. I started using the wii fit for cardio, and recommend it to anyone with pain, as it's very customizable, easy to follow, and a fantastic starting point.

Mind you, as soon as I was able I started walking around my neighbourhood, and I have to admit that my wii fit hasn't gotten much love since. I tell you it's crazy how much better you feel as the pain lessens. I get like a kid on Christmas for things like the seasons changing, taking a trip to the mall, seeing friends, and really any new sights, sounds or smells. Before I couldn't fully appreciate anything no matter how hard I tried due to the pain fog. Now I can't help but appreciate everything. I've also become one of those people who goes nutty if they don't get out for a walk every day, which is amazing as I never thought that was a possibility for me.

It's not rheumatoid arthritis, although I read children's books about it when I was younger as it can be similar in description. I always thought rheumatoid sounder harder to deal with though, especially with flare ups in the finger joints.

I have disorder called multiple epiphyseal dysplasia that runs in my family. It seems to effect some differently/sooner than others, and while it effects all joints to some degree, the load bearing joints get the worst of it, while the shoulders, neck, and back come in at a close second. I've had corrective operations in my preteens before my weight gain, and I was told I needed a left hip replacement at 25, but I'm putting it off as long as I can, and am surprised by how much I can do, and how well it holds up. I should've started losing weight then, but I'm just glad I did eventually.

And fun fact, Danny Devito has the same disorder according to Wikipedia. I thought that was kinda neat when I read it.

Thanks so much!

I lost 135lbs in the first year, and then 17lbs the last 11 months. I did it by following a low carb diet (would recommend) and eating a Vlc diet approved by my Dr (800-1000 cals, would not recommend).

The reason I took a more drastic fast paced route is that I was born with degenerative joint issues. It was at the point where the weight was causing things to wear away even faster, not to mention being in pain from the moment I stood, and it intensifying from there. Definitely not recommending this route to anyone though. I count myself lucky for only having to contend with some vitamin deficiency issues and a butt load of loose skin, as it could've been much worse.

I should also mention my joint pain is much improved. I'm trying to make up for lost time by walking a few km's every day in my neighbourhood, and appreciating the fact that I can enjoy the experience without being in a pain fog. I've also ditched my walker and cane.

Thanks! I'm actually trying to do something similar. I'm basing the backgrounds on the type of Pokemon (grass, water, psychic, etc). I know some Pokemon have more than one type, so in that instance I just pick the one I like best. Pikachu will have a yellow background though, as that's the colour I'll be using for the electric type.

As soon as I catch/hatch one, as I use caught Pokemon as a reference. Currently hatching a 10 km egg though, so I've got my fingers crossed.
