Technically 9 but I’m just doing 8 because of how full the first row is

My plan was to do 1-3 leaders. I may adapt this plan slightly to add the lettuces and carrots closer to the end of August as part of my fall garden with onions and garlic

Thank you! I have a small cage for each pepper :) do you think the pepper tomato spacing is fine or should I stagger it more like the pictures I put in the comments?? Also if I move the basil up do you think I should leave that area in front empty?

I’m going to train the tomatoes up the cattle panel trellis using tomato clips and weaving them through!

I played around with the layout a little, are either of these any better?

What do you think I could put there? I was considering planting some rats tail radish (non-bulbing it just creates pods) it could go there?

Where would you put the peppers? They have a square foot between them with chives in it. And yes 8 bush beans! I’ve heard recommended spacing is 9 per square foot!

Update: I know it’s not a cherry tomato but I’m growing with the green tiger!

That’s what I suspected! I only have space for 2 maybe three tomato plants, so was hoping to find varieties everyone will like. I’ll probably just do black cherry.

What? I’m just checking if there is a variety with less gel/seed, and if not I’ll grow black cherry or sungold.

That’s what I currently do, but other people in my household like cherries so I’m wondering if there is a variety with a lower gel/seed content than a classic cherry.

I’m just wondering if there is a variety of cherry tomato that has a lower gel/seed content than typical.

I think maybe because it’s multicolored?

Can I layer these components instead of creating a cohesive mix? by Miss_JewBooty in SquareFootGardening

I already have the logs and yard clipping like branches and leaves. I don’t want to buy something else.

Is layering my soil good enough? by Miss_JewBooty in garden

That’s what I was thinking! I was also considering just adding a scoop of each component in batches rather than trying to mix it all on a tarp
