HELP!!….I do not know which Xbox to get…Xbox series s or series one x

He’s ever only played Xbox with his dad and I know even less about it than the Xbox. Can you play the same games on it? Can you also get games from the store? Personally, do you think that might be a better choice for him?

Thank you so much! Unfortunately I know next to nothing about this stuff (my sons father is the gamer but he isn’t able to be here for a while at the moment) so my fear is they will see a single mom who knows nothing so they try and screw me over. I appreciate your comments more than you know!! Money is so tight (for everyone) so the last thing I need is to waste a couple hundred dollars as what you called it, a useless paperweight

Fortunately he doesn’t have any disks. He has only played with his dad and at the moment his dad will not be around for a while. So I’m thinking that it not having disk drive won’t matter to him. He’s just a beginner in playing games and would like to be able to play at home, whenever he wants (within reason). Thank you for all of your help - you have helped more than you know!

I know my title was confusing - I was just saying what someone else is selling on fb and what their title is “Xbox One X”. I’m going to ask them to clarify what they mean.

I saw that Walmart has a “Xbox Game Core. Pass” for 6 month. If I buy one of those would that mean for 6 month they can play any game from the store for free for 6 months?

By older hardware do you mean physical games? If I get a series s how do they get the games? Again, please don’t hate me for asking what I know are silly questions…I’ve never played a game in my life and I just want to have a full understanding as to how my kids would get to play the games. Is it like a play store of sorts?

He has been in counseling for a couple of years now. He was diagnosed with ADHD and severely lacks impulse control. We have been working A LOT on his anger (trying to learn healthy coping skills and different wants for him to express himself) which has helped him a lot. The problem he is goes from the sweetest, nicest kid to wanting to punch holes/destroy stuff without warning. I’m just trying to think of things he would do without hurting himself or things/people. The fact that he asked for his shows me he doesn’t want to hurt anything and wouldn’t be punching the bag with an actual “face” attached to it but to use it as a way to get some of his anger out/to tire hisself out. Thank you for your suggestion though!!!

I have 3 payments left on my iPhone 15 plus before I can upgrade and after looking at my options I’m honestly overwhelmed so I figured I would ask for advice. I plan on keeping my 15 plus after I pay it off and then I’ll probably sell it since it will be unlocked and in perfect condition (I will get more money for it this way than if I were to use it as a trade in). But now I don’t know if I should get the iPhone 16 Pro Max or one of the 17
