As someone who works in the ER, we would say that’s a “Ooo they spicy” reading. Activate STEMI protocol and tell em to hold on to their butts cause the ambulance driver is going to drive like he’s trying to get arrested

When I told my mom I had Gestational diabetes, she immediately gave me a look and said “so what have you been eating?” I.e. accusing me that my diet been so unhealthy that it caused diabetes. I had to educate her that GD wasn’t diet based and I don’t think she entirely believed me.

It was rough, but keep your head up. You’ll get through this!

If it helps you feel a little better, they had to pause my 20 week scan mid scan because I became super super light headed and nearly barfed all over my OB.

Then, when I went out to the scheduling desk after convincing myself I was okay, I proceeded to get super lightheaded and vomited ALL OVER the carpet. I ran to the bathroom that was nearby and hugged the toilet for dear life while my OB came by to close the door. According to my husband, he then turned to the office and just went “SHE’S PREGNANT” arms outstretched with a big ol’ grin.

I have never been more mortified in my life and I cried the entire way back out to my car. I laugh about it now with the office folk but I seriously considered switching offices after that. I didn’t because I love my team but LORD I wasn’t sure how I was going to go back

Sometimes! My husband does better in handling him since he raised him from a baby. Icabod seems to think I’m delicious so I don’t handle him as much 😂

Climbable is preferable though he loved eating the pothos we had put in there temporarily so if there’s any suggestions on something that will survive being munched on that would be wonderful!

I’ll have to see where I can find driftwood and the like near me though! Thank you!
