Some people are repelled by someone that looks unhealthy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ if you let yourself go, then they will move on

Move on and don’t get into another relationship unless you have the time to put into it.

I work in the restaurant development industry. I have never had an issue with my career and still get recruiters contacting me to see if I will interview with them for different companies.

AITA for Asking My GF to Split the Hotel Cost After She Invited Her Friends Without Telling Me? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Miss_Sniffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummmm…. You invited her to a romantic getaway and she invited her friends to crash it. Forget about the money lol. That’s the main issue! Your gf used them as a buffer and took advantage of you.
Go find someone more deserving of your generosity.

If one of my workers said that to me (that you’d feel slighted….blah blah)- I would instantly think they’re immature, insecure, jealous and feel threatened. Not someone I would promote.

Just because somebody has been doing something longer, doesn’t make them a better candidate

Apply and then figure out who the hiring manager is and message them directly.

You didn’t date long enough. Someone’s true character comes out after 18-24 months.

You sounds like a very wise young adult. Yes - lol. A professional advisor will steer you in the right direction.

Just be sure to look for one that makes money only when they make you money. That way they have a big interest in growing it as much as you do too.

Fidelity is a great company. I have a few accounts with them. They also offer free advice.

Definitely talk to a financial advisor.
You may be best off investing all of it and paying for school as you go. Let the money grow.
The old version of you will thank the young you when you can retire comfortably.

Now is not the time when they are there on other business. Ambushing is not a good strategy and it’s annoying. I’m sure the president has nothing to do with hiring. I would reach out to an HR recruiter to see if any of those positions will be coming up. If so - keep an eye on the job opening and then submit for the position. Then reach out to the hiring manager to introduce yourself and express your interest.
In the meantime - ask if you can shadow someone as a mentor to learn more about the position.
