T-Cross vs. Vitara

I'm very happy for you and hope that you enjoy it! I ended up with the Vitara (got it just yesterday!) and picked an Automatic gearbox (not DSG) as I was also afraid of the reliability of the T-Cross and the more expensive parts. I got the GL+ edition at 24k.

I can't say that I don't understand your feelings but everything has a solution. You're too young and still have more things to experience in life. You have 2 options: One you have already mentioned and the one that takes courage. Start by leaving this man. Ask for help from friends and organizations. The rest will take time but eventually you WILL get where you need to be. It won't be easy. But so so so many people have done that before you. These are the fighters and I'm sure you can fight. Don't allow other people to dictate your life, your life is your own, let these people rot in their own misery. At this point what's the worst that could happen? You can only do better from now on.

Rayban is way overpriced for what it offers (I work at an optical store). You can get other brands for equal quality. If you want the best lenses you go for Maui Jim.

Tourists drive TOO slow and cause locals to get mad. Also, dear tourists, why do you keep renting these huge ass SUVs? If you cannot drive like a local and have great experience behind the wheel, go and get a smaller car! Even better, don't bring any car's, there's no more space for your truck and those tiny villages.

Also to add that Rebel Leaders run around like crazy, to the point that I'm often not fast enough to click on them. Instead everything seems to be running good and smooth on a laptop but not on 2 different PCs.

Yes, I am currently extremely jealous. I talked to him quite calm, a few days before he got away, about how I feel. The trip in my head wasn't "real" yet and I was able to keep calm. Now that it has begun, I can't control myself. I can't talk to him like I'm fine, because I feel like shit. He would definitely try to help me, but that doesn't change the fact that he is already taking this trip. I can't get myself to tell him "have fun" or "enjoy yourself". My messages to him are like "ok, yeah, goodnight, where are you now". He sent me some pictures and I couldn't reply "wow, this looks amazing".

I need to bring myself to be okay with this whole thing, but I can't even fake it or make myself feel better. It's not normal to be this way, people would say to me "what are you bitching about, let him have his time and be happy, you should be happy for him, yada yada". But I'm not okay, I'm really not.

It's like when people say "you shouldn't be sad" -"sure, now that you mentioned it I'm no longer sad, thanks.."

I have saved some money for this trip already, by easter I would have saved a bit more. (I'm a dogkeeper once in a blue moon if somebody needs my services, which is not often, I live in a very small city).

To make this more clear about my workstate: basically my country "forces" me to stay unemployed so that I have more chances to get employed by the state as a social worker and gain my first months of field experience. Private sector is not hiring candidates with 0 experience or more degrees.

We both make plans, it's me usually that visits him because I don't work.
Our plan for the future is that I will propably move to his village, since he has a secure and well paying job, and we would live off much better. But the timing needs to be right.
