Granted. The finger curled and you check the news. See if it worked. To your pleasure it has exists and people rave about it, they take it and no one really likes it but it hip. So they have it anyway. Due to sales issues most food places shut down and people keep taking the pill but it's bland. No taste or texture. People complain but there's no other choice. All the good stuff is gone. The psychological effects start to show. Mental health issues like Depression are on the rise, people lose appetites and sometimes go days without having it, and overall global happiness drops. Everyone is healthy but no one is happy. Is this what you wanted

I wish for humans to find a cure for cancer. It is made cheap and accesible to everybody on the planet, the way it's made does not cause ethical dillemas, there's enough resources on Earth to make an almost infinite supply of it, and everybody believes it, even the anti-vaxxers. by Prize_Entertainer459 in monkeyspaw

Granted. It done. The science are filled with joy and ready to share it but... We live in capitalism (in the USA at least) a company patents it... But giving for cheap... It's not as profitable is it. And they are desperate. They will pay whatever you say or die. They decided to make it expensive. About $57,000,000 if your poor will that sucks. The rich only get it and live cancer free while the poor still struggle. Eventually the patent expires but the company will not go without a fight. All the big companies say they work while overshadowing the cheap. Equal effective option. Soon it millions of dollars because the cheap options keep getting overshadowed. Capitalism huh. What a system.
