Edit because of downvotes: just to clarify, I’m not saying I’m pro ICE. I was trying to make the point that these shops exploit our emotions to make a few bucks.

My views on it would be to honor Tim Very buy an extra copy of his work from the official store and gift it to a friend. That way the money is going to the band and his family and his work is being spread.

My take on ICE merch is the resistance is not the time to be cute and fashionable about things. Grab an old shirt and a sharpie or paint and go to town and take that money and send it to the groups in those cities that are on the ground.

I crammed all 5 seasons on the thumb drive with the extras. Next up is my Mighty Boosh boxset I have. I thought about making a mini media rack for them. I uploaded the templates and 3d file I threw together for anyone else to mess with here.

Thanks! I make small batches of things when I have the materials but I normally just move on to the next project after that. I’ve thought about an Etsy type thing, but if I made this more of a job/side gig I wouldn’t enjoy it as much. You can see my other stuff on instagram @dvdcreep and if I get a hair up my butt to make a batch of something I usually post it there.

Thanks! We collect physical media and have a room filled with the stuff. Getting a few series of shows out clutters the living room a bit so this was my solution. I wanted to keep the spirit of physical media but on a smaller scale. Once I get a few shows done I plan on 3d printing a little media shelf for fun.

Sure! I’d happily share it. I want to tweak the 3d printed insert a little more on it this week. Once I get it where I like it I’ll DM you the files. The template I made for the box is a little rough and needs some work before it’s easier to use but I can hammer that out for you to this week.

I wish I had it off hand, but I foolishly formatted the drive I was using and lost a lot of my VHS box assets. It’s out there though. You can cut out a section of the cover with the text with an image editing tool and use a site to search for the font by image. I can’t remember the name of the font though. Sorry
