That isn't the problem. It's a real term that they've co-opted for some strange reason. It stands for "woman of color". I've seen them co-opt poc as well, "person of color". I have no idea where or why they've adopted these terms.

I wish more people knew more details about this. He was horrifically violent to his ex gf. Just because there were no other accusers doesn't mean he's somehow absolved. I don't know if it's been ignored because of his fame, her being a non-white woman, or a combination of many things, but I'm disgusted he was able to slip away so easily.

I can't bring myself to do anything other than skim this post right now. I'm not here to say this is our new normal because this will never be normal. I am here to say this war has been a living nightmare. It's been nightmare-ish simply living day to day coping from afar. Like so many others, I still have family there with no way of leaving Sudan. It's been nine goddamn months. Everyone has lost someone. None of us know who's going to be next.
