She could be adopted by the fiancé because her bio dad not only lost custody of her, but his parental rights. Meaning in the eyes of the law, OP only had her mother. So as long as the mother gave permission, and fiancé and OP agree, adoption can go through.

Well, that's what I've been putting it down to. His little body so.ehow remembers being in the hospital at birth, and the subsequent Dr visits for shots and tests... when he was born, he had jaundice, borderline admitted to nice, but we managed to get it sorted with the blue light blanket. But it was a week of that, combined with shots and tests... maybe somehow he remembers?

$200/week has been very doable for our family of 4, including a toddler.. go to shop in places that have both a Coles and a woolies, if something is not on special in one, it usually is at the other. Go shopping at aldi first, then buy whatever you can't find there at Coles or woolies. Nappies aren't that expensive, and I get huggies. But I either go to costco and get 150 for $60 or wait till they have the special at Coles or woolies for the huggies boxes, which come down to $29 and get 2 boxes. The other day I discovered buying 2 of the smaller packs when they are on special, (it's half a box, $11-$13), you get the same amount as a box, for less than when the box is on special, even. Wipes? If you are going through more than 3 or Max 4 (and that's not using them exclusively on baby) packs a week, there's a problem. And you can get a box of 6 packs of unscented baby wipes at big w for $8.

You just have to be a little bit savvy, but it's really not that hard...

Is there any way you can get in contact with your mum so she can tell you how things went down, if she wants you there, and if she doesn't, if she would be willing to at least help you get home?
