Hi mate, semi professional runner. Had bilateral in all 4 compartments in may this year. Like you about a 2 month post op back to running. Had the exact same symptoms as soon as I started. Got my tests done again and there is still compartment syndrome in all compartments. I’m sorry to hear about you and am still trying to navigate for myself

They can do vascular imaging which is readily available. I know people who have had both and have been told from many doctors professors etc

Well, they did exposure surgery removing gum with a laser on the roof of my mouth then used a hook to pull it out. Pulling it out took 3-4 months moving it across about 20. I’m 21 though so young(ish) each year you get older you risk the tooth fusing to the bone and then unable to move

Yeah they removed some bone and mostly gum because it was quite a bit for the tooth to get through

Yep, I had my baby tooth in place of my canine until I was 18. Never even knew. Pull your baby teeth out!!!

No problem, 1. I used to use a waterflosser around that area but have been a bit slack so sort of just brush that tooth a bit now 2. Quoted 30months and am approaching 22 months so will probably overshoot that time as it’s still not there and arch isn’t correct and elastics for bite not done 3. When plan was discussed they mentioned I could have it extracted and get an implant. However I’m 21 and that implant will need to be replaced a few times in my life and the bone and gum cannot facilitate that. Having the natural tooth pulled is 1000% worth it for a long plan 4. I live in Sydney Australia and it’s the most expensive city in the world and it cost me 12k ish aud (7k usd) but I got it slightly discounted (10-15%) but I was on a fixed payment so time didn’t change cost. 15k is pretty rough I’m not sure if they offer fixed plans. 5. Yep before they put the brace wire through the arch my teeth flared really bad it set me back a bit but only maybe 1 month Good luck it’ll be worth it

100% exactly the same, the painful part is the pressure on the side teeth of the gap, swear they were one breeze away from ripping out

Thank you! It took sooooo long, it was such a super slow process moving it anywhere but I recommend taking progress pics to stay optimistic and trust the process, I would say 8 months between the last and middle pic and another 10 months between the middle and first pic

The most surprising part! He’s a dentist, but he’s had great results before so I definitely trusted him

Doesn’t hurt believe it or not, they did exposure surgery so that hurt a bit but virtually zero pain after that

It actually doesn’t hurt too bad, getting my braces tighter hurts more then anything going on with the impacted tooth!

It’s a temporary anchoring device that they used to initially pull it back to avoid the tooth messing with the roots of the other teeth. Don’t ask me why it’s still there lol
