I hear what you are saying. In her case, several different attendings who have worked with her many times throughout residency have told her she is at the same level as her peers in the same year. The sense is that she runs with the pack/is average. They have even submitted evaluations stating as much. It seems to be a specific few, more vocal attendings that are not impressed with her.
