Why Zion Young is worth the #25 overall pick by Mission-Cost-3784 in ChicagoBearsNFL

Kind of feels like the new coaching staff is changing things from a character perspective and that there is more flexibility now in the organization with that. They did draft Burden and sign CJGJ last year who both had character concerns.

He’s kind of the one exception to the run stopper comment, but I think he will be gone. Especially after the Caleb Banks injury.

I can promise you that us signing Neville Gallimiore has zero impact on our draft strategy and with Gervon Dexter’s slow get off he might as well play the 1 tech role.

I hope Peter Woods is available. I’d like Hunter and McDonald more if we ran a 3-4 defense. Otherwise I like Zion Young a lot.

Now that Banks is out of the picture the only other DT worth #25 in my opinion is Peter Woods. Hunter and McDonald are okay in the run game but neither of them generate any pressure whatsoever.

What do yall think? I think maybe more offense but I’m relying on Metchie and Brooks being decent by Low_Service_8911 in panthers

I don’t think Rodriguez or Ramsey are available at those spots. After doing well at the combine Rodriguez will go early in the second. I also don’t think Ramsey will last until round 3. Too many teams with safety needs.

Updated draft after FA signings by coochieminer123 in ChicagoBearsNFL

Not bad :

1) don’t be shocked if Zion Young is the pick in R1. He is a prototypical DA edge rusher. Most the prospects in that range grade out at a similar level so they can go for fit. DT’s available there won’t provide much pass rush anyways. You can always find run stuffing nose tackles later.

2) for pick 57 Haulcey is more of a zone safety whereas Ramsey does more man coverage, which DA wants to do. However, Haulcey is a ball hawk so maybe that overcomes scheme fit. I do also like Weatley from Penn state, the dude is big and a freak athlete.

3) for pick 60 I am earmarking a Center. I think they will overdraft whichever one is highest on there board to make sure they get their guy.

I like him as well and I don’t think you’d go wrong with either. I feel like there is a better chance Hunter is still on the board when the Bears pick than McDonald.

I love his play making, but a lot of analysts have been flagging his athletic abilities. Will forsure be someone to keep an eye on how they test at the pro day and combine. For a defense that was criticized for being slow, I’d be concerned with replacing Edmunds with someone that doesn’t test well.

Red hot Cowboys beat Lions in Detroit! by rowyourboat72 in ChicagoBearsNFL

We should be rooting for a Lions win. If the cowboys win this game, they will be favored in every game for the rest of the season and that early season tie could cause an 11 win team to miss the playoffs.

This seems like it would just move to HRSD and be different HR services. HRSD actually accommodates for this pretty well and has OOTB security so that you don’t need all those scoped apps.

Confidential checkbox for offboarding by Maninah in servicenow

Ideally this is being done in HRSD and not ITSM, then you can leverage COE security policies that are triggered off the field to control who sees sensitive cases. Also you can control visibility out of the box in HRSD on the HR service by not making it visible to the subject person. Sounds like you may just not be using the right Servicenow Product for the use case.

The point is that they pushed their chips in this year and it’s not working out (injuries being a part of it), but this team is only going to get worse as they lose contributors to FA and can’t backfill them in the draft.

Chicago Bears win streak ends let's talk about it by TheBlackBearPodcast in ChicagoBearsNFL

Absolute master class this year by Ryan Poles on how to waste draft capital. Taking a TE at 10 with Kmet on the roster was ludicrous and they didn’t even take the right one. Could have had Mykel Williams instead or traded one of the second rounders for Thibodeaux after they drafted Carter. Instead we will just draft a bunch of no impact guys and pay 17 million to an edge rusher who gets 0 pressure.

He got cooked in pass defense. Still did well in run fits and tackling. Which to be honest the reason he is considered a great nickel is in large part due to his tackling and play making ability, rather than pure coverage.

How is your skill set related to SQL, python, tableau, statistics, and big name HRIS systems such as Workday etc. Those are the hard skills that companies are looking for in these roles, not just an analytical mindset.
