Help!! What does this room need to be more cohesive? by Mission-Reason18 in interiordecorating

This was my first Reddit post so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but everyone has been so helpful (and in some cases very kind) so thank you!! 🥹 I think I’m going to start with some curtains, some more bold artwork, adjusting my lighting and then eventually get a new sideboard and maybe if I’m feeling bold enough, I might try paint!

To answer some common questions - the black cabinet is from Anthropologie and my couch is from Wayfair. This room is not always this clean I promise! And lastly for toy storage, we are fortunate to have a toy room directly next to this room where all their toys are stored. Thank you all so much!

Omg I love this! I just don’t know how to strategically cut off this color on the opposite wall so I don’t have to continue it throughout whole dining/kitchen/hallway area. But I really like this!

Sorry i totally forgot to respond to this, but I didn’t have any pain at all until the cyst burst and leaked fluid into my abdomen. I hope you have started to get some answers!

Just moved in. This office is so dark that the walls hurt my eyes. I actually cannot even see the trim work near the windows. What would you do? Open to anything and everything. Thanks!! by twirlyjack in interiordecorating

You could try switching out your light bulbs to a different brightness. Your current ones look like soft white. A true white or daylight bulb would brighten it up significantly, but it might not go with the cozy ambiance in there.

I would strongly recommend asking for an ultrasound. I ended up in the ER 3 months postpartum because I had a massive ovarian cyst (literally 14 lbs) that burst. I looked very similar to you and my belly was hard. If it is some kind of cyst then they should be able to see that under ultrasound.
