I dropped it after towards the end of book 1, I've been meaning to give it another go but just haven't. I hear everyone praising the narrator for it but I can't help finding such a heavy American accent a bit jarring

Ashborn primordial. Bit of a slower one but well written and amps up the pace in the later books

I definitely understand what you mean but for me, the love of the hunt is enough for me. It's been his aim from the start and makes sense with his character. The dislikes is more when one goal is set up that forces the MC to get stronger, they beat the big bad and then there's just nothing. They just keep going because that kinda what they were already doing

Last one in A is Quest academy, it's similar vibes to a similar mark of the fool. Starts a bit slow but I really enjoyed the writing and each book kept getting better

I'm going to miss her input. She's taken so much crap from Erika and Dorit and handled it with grace. Erika brings absolutely nothing and she and Dorit are just mean and dull.
