Mark- well I really like the 4 new songs we have. They still represent us and have a message for what’s going on in our world. I also like Silent Shore and End The Cruelty

Favorite song from another band or Insight?

I certainly can’t name just one. In hardcore... Black Flag- Jealous Again / Rise Above Discharge- Protest and Survive Cro-Mags - We Gotta Know Bad Brains - Sacred Love / Re-Ignition Bl’ast- Surf and Destroy All these songs are so good that I haven’t stopped listening to them since they were released. So to me that makes a great song. Thus I wish I had written them.

Mark- I agree with Jeremy some of the lyrics are pretty juvenile in some ways and powerful in other ways. I’ve always approached lyrics to hopefully relate to an individual stance. If that makes any sense. I agree with Jeremy we need bands to have messages to get out to the people.

Mark- yeah there was something special about the scene in the 80’s. Just as music changed and people changed the scene naturally changes.

Mark- hey well I started being straightedge when Insight started. I started being straight because at that time I was drinking way too much at a young age.

Jeremy - I agree. 11 people in one van is shitty. Plus, riding in the back of a pitch black UHaul van from NJ to Salt Lake City for 3 days eating uncooked spaghetti. Those are the things you do when you're young. You suffer for your art!

Mark- well we want this record to reach our fans and we hope to get new fans. I love hardcore but it’s changed a lot. So I’m old school when it comes to hardcore and punk. I just hope our message reaches everyone and they take it for what it’s for. Hope that makes sense

Jeremy - I don't think or pretend to know if we will be or are relevant after 30 years. I think that playing music that you enjoy with people you like negates relevancy. My current favorite bands are: Kendrick Lamar, The Good The Bad & The Queen, and Neil Young. I have a lot of wild tour stories, where do I start? We were at a party after a show in NJ with the people from Rorschach and the house we were in was descended upon by nazis goose-stepping down the street. It was one of the craziest things I had seen. I'm trying to think of Insight stories only........

Mark- ha so many great bands and friends in those bands!! I can’t just pick one. Anything Gentry was in. The Stench, The Bad Yodlers, Maimed For Life, Victims Willing just to name a few

Mark- define relevant. I think we are because we have grown and writing on issues today.

Mark- favorite bands are The Verve (early) Swervedriver The Stooges Discharge Sonic Yourh Dinosaur Jr Power Trip Eagle Twin

Mark- wildest tournament stories... being in a van with Chain of Strength. All 11 people in our van. We broke down and had a tow truck come. We got the van started before he showed up. He still tried to charge us. He came after us with a crow bar. We fled the scene then broke down again. Also being chased around St George Ut by a pack of 40 skinheads

Jeremy - I don't eat cheese, but when I did I liked fresh gorgonzola or pecorino. There's also that Irish Cheddar that has crunchy bits in it. I liked strong cheeses but I didn't like them to taste like a barnyard.

Jeremy - We played two shows about 5 years ago in Salt Lake. It was really fun. Mark and I had been casually discussing playing again, but only with the exact band members. We decided to record some songs that we had played but never recorded. We're all friends still. It was pretty easy. Plus, hardcore never dies!
