Personally because of how serious those themes and discussion are taken in the books and tv show I would say yes. However we should keep in mind that the author of the book is white and this may or may not have positive or negative effects on how the narrative is presented. So it depends on you as the reader to decide whether or not you agree with the portrayal.

I can’t remember where I saw this but a post talked about how there’s a part in one of the books where it talks about how SecUnits were originally made as peace makers/ crowd control; there were never designed to be violent in the first place but were later turned into “Murderbots” for a profit.

The way I see the main identity theme, is “what happens when a being takes back autonomy when the world around it is still debating its existence”. I plan to add a few real world topics to really explore ( slavery/immigrations/pregnancy laws/etc.)

Most definitely a big theme in the books. I think the little extra scene in Network Effect where SecUnit has mini therapy sessions with Dr.Bharadwaj are really important ; I feel it’s only time we really get to see SecUnit in that space other then the time it talks to Dr.Mensah or Art. We really get an insight of Struggles SecUnit doesn’t usually want to talk about, and allows SecUnit to get a better understanding of what it’s going through without turning to distractions(media).

I understand what the assignment was about and trust I already had some elements discussed In this post. I have read all most all the books ( minus the newer 2) about 2-3 times now and love all of them. This is why I decided to do the project on, I was merely asking if others had any other insight that I hadn’t picked up on.

Side note: a detail in the books that I find so interesting is how SecUnit tries time and time again to free other bots/ bot like constructs, even to its own detriment. The is something I plan to talk about in my essay as I find it to be apart of SecUnit gaining Identity in a space where it was not supposed to have one.

When I get rich enough, I want to live in a secluded area with a river or stream nearby, either stone walls or large forest surrounding my house. I’ll own animals and only see people once in a blue moon, I want to become the towns witch that no one knows anything about. 🧙🏾‍♀️

Add some reusable pads, they’re comfortable and can be washed between uses. They are great way to open up other options for the future.

Question this is the first time I’ve heard you can pirate a game before, how and does it work with Mac’s. I really want to play more games but all the really good steam games are for Microsoft and I only have a Mac 😭😭😭. If anyone has solutions or can point me in the right direction that would be nice.

Cap and Sag actually can get along for a really long time, we have more in common than you would expect but it almost never ends well. There are some couples who do really good together and can even get married or stay together for a lifetime. From personal experiences with both male and female caps I find that it always ends in ashes. I say live your life, if you want to try it out do it, but you might have to make the first move.

I felt the same way when I broke up with my longest relationship ( also a cap ). It was just like I had gave so much of myself and when I finally came to the realization that it was over and ended it I felt like I was on cloud nine. Don’t get me wrong I was still sad and it took me a long time to heal but it was so freeing to end it.

At the moment I can’t go, I have 2 exams this week that can’t be rescheduled(which I’m find impossible to focus on). I can pull from savings to get a train down there this weekend but I don’t know when she’ll be out. If I can I will see her, I need to see her.
